Amedeo Testoni was born in 1905 in Bologna Italy, a historic center of shoemaking craftsmanship. His dream was to produce the finest men's shoes and see them in the most prestigious shops in the world. Testoni mastered the art of shoe making by working as an apprentice in the main workshops in town. This experience combined with his entrepreneurial spirit, led him to establish the firm of a. testoni in 1929. Today the collection has expanded to include an extraordinary women's collection.

This is a fantastic shoe - worth every penny. The shape molds perfectly to my foot, creating an elegant but comfortable business shoe.
Very nice shoe. Be sure to order 1/2 size down. Not true to size. Also shoe comes standard as about a 2E which was great for me.

Excellent shoe. Very stylish. Comfortable. Build quality quite good. Hopefully with care this shoe will last a long time. I consider this purchase an investment in a quality, comfortable shoe with a decent amount of longevity. In the past I have spent much less on shoes and I go through them quickly. I recommend a shoe tree to manage shape and for moisture control. It is suggested not to wear the same pair of shoes on consecutive days. I spent much less on a pair of Ted Bakers that were quite stylish but were extraordinarily disappointed. These are by fair a shoe in a different league.
These shoes look great. They have been durable so far. The only problem that I have with them is that they are a little narrow at the end, but the style is worth it!
As with all A. Testoni shoes, this shoe is made of extremely luscious and supple leather with workmanship of the utmost quality. I had tried the plain toe Blucher from the 2011 models in a store, though I wanted something with a little more detail. Unfortunately, I had to return this shoe as it was much more narrow than the plain toe one at the same size, and any further upsizing would have resulted in too much extra room in the toe box.
These are beautiful and stylish shoes. Also comfortable, even for feet which prefer thicker soles these days.
