Aquatalia by Marvin K. Reviews
These are so cute & so comfortable! I never would have chosen them from the display but the salesmen at Nordstroms brought them over to me to try since I was going for comfort and style. They are like wearing tennis shoes! In fact they are my go-to shoes now for pretty much everything. Amazingly comfortable how they embrace your foot yet stay so cool. They are my new tennis shoes. Love them.
I wanted this waterproof shoe because we travel a lot and run into inclement weather. It was quite bulky and did not fit as well as Pliner's Ezara. I also did not like the white/ecru stitching, would have preferred black. Good sole.
I ordered these as I wanted a boot with a chunky heel. They are really nice and very comfortable; I received a couple compliments the first time I wore them. The only thing is the patent is creasing a bit where your foot bends when you walk...I don't know if that is unavoidable, but for the price I expect them to wear a bit better. Overall, though, a very nice boot.
This shoe is fabulous! Fits well, comfortable and looks great--- love the brand- does what it says. I purchased the bone color as well, wish they had navy!
These are a very sharp looking boot in person. At first I wasn't sure about the fur on top, but I think it makes the boot. This is a matter of personal style. These are pull on and a little difficult to get on at first; however, once your foot is in, they are true to size and comfortable right from the start. These are lined in faux fur rather than the traditional plaid. I have worn 7.5 in the past (I am a size 7 shoe) in Aquatalia. I felt the 7.5 was too loose in the foot. These have nice height with the wedge. They are higher in the shaft than the Kiss and the Kenzie, but below the knee. I have a medium size calf. I don't think these would work for someone with a larger calf.
I loved these boots but they didn't love me! I tried a few times around the house but the right boot caused a lot of pain in my ankle. Not sure if it was the height of the heel or what it was. They are gorgeous and well made and I'm very disappointed! I wear a 5 1/2 and order these in the 5 1/2 and they were a perfect fit!
I love these boots! They are so comfy and cute! The inside faux fur lining is all throughout the boot down to the toes! The leather is nice and smooth. They are comfortable and stylish. Wear them up or down, they look cute with everything. They run small for me (probably because of the fur lining) so I went half size up. I'm normally an 8 but got an 8.5 and they are perfect. I wear mine with socks but you don't even have to. I wish they had my size in black, I would get them in a heartbeat! These boots are just perfect!
Absolutely beautiful. Comfortable in the footbed, nice arch support, and wedge. However, they do run small. I have several pairs of Aquatalia boots and sandals and this style seems to run a half to a full size small (short). With the right fit, I highly recommend them!
I adore these boots! I bought a version of them about five years ago, and I've practically lived in them every winter since. They're a bit pricey, but very much worth it. They are warm and comfortable, and weatherproof to boot -- I've worn them in rain and snow storms and they've managed to hold up well. The leg part is a bit narrow, but since I have thin calves, this isn't a problem for me. I'm going to be very sad when my current pair wears out, because these boots are fantastic!
Unbelievably comfortable, but I couldn't zip them up around my calves...no stretch at all, but really cute!
Normally, I don't take the time to review purchases, but I appreciate the time others take to do so and find the feedback valuable, especially for a really great product. And these boots are just that! The weather has been uncharacteristically cold and wet here (8 inches of snow and ice last week, with single digit wind chills), and these boots brought me through it all with warm, dry feet and a tailored, well-edited appearance. Admittedly, I did pair them with merino wool tights (I'm very cold natured and needed the extra warmth under my wool trousers). In addition, they are some of the most comfortable footwear I own and look great with jeans, cords, or leggings tucked in or underneath a bootcut trouser. My calves are thin, so they are a little loose with a skirt; however, they are shaped well and structured, complementing this look too. In other words, they don't slouch or scrunch up. Furthermore, I never changed into more "rugged" footwear to walk and play with my puppy in all the snow, ice, slush, and eventual mud. When I took them off at night, I just wiped them down, and brushed for a few seconds each with a suede "sponge"; and they looked like new. To summarize, these boots have beauty and functionality and are one of my best purchases in the last few years. When I ordered these, I also bought two pair of La Canadiennes, which proved inferior in appearance and fit and were promptly returned (thanks for making returns so easy, Zappos!). In fact, I just purchased this boot in black because I love the brown ones so much. I would have given them ten stars if possible. Hope this helps.
I bought these boots in black suede. I have flat feet but this boot is extremely comfortable and I do not need an arch support. I absolutely love them! They are great Michigan boots - through the snow and slush my feet stay dry and comfy! They are incredibly stylish - with skirts, skinny jeans or leggings. I can't say enough about them. So I ordered them in brown!
