My foot surgeon suggested that I purchase Hokas and he was right, they feel fabulous on my feet and really help eliminate the pain i have from arthritis in my toe!

I walk a lot and always seem to have a problem with ball of the foot pain after a short time of purchasing new shoes. I am neither an overpronator nor an underpronator. These shoes, although not the loveliest looking, keep my feet pain free. They are wide enough in the toe box so your toes are not scrunched...I have a slightly wider foot, lots of padding, and good arch support. They feel true to size as I wear a 5 1/2 in most shoes and that size in this shoe, fit well. Also, they do not slip in the ankle area, and seem to be well made. I do not know how they would be for running as I do not run, but walk and do cross fit. Would purchase again.

The shoe is a solid material and I felt it didn't breath enough. Also the heel was very uncomfortable; it looked like it would be thick and plush but the heel sunk in and caused pain when I ran.

Very fragile shoe, mesh across toe box fell apart after 3 weeks. I do not recommend for trail running or hiking.

This is probably my 7th pair of Hokas. They are by far my favorite. I have had a number of different styles depending on what I'm doing ( walking, treadmill, trail running, working, etc). This is my first pair of arahis. They were a little narrow when I first tried them on but by the end of the day they were perfect.

I wanted to love this shoe, but alas it's going back. Compared to other Hokas, this has a more streamlined profile. If you don't like the clunky Hoka look, this might be a good bet, but the narrower forefoot area didn't work for me.

I tried many types of Hokas and landed on these. I walk vs. run and found this one to be the best lightweight, but cushioned shoe. The Bondi and Aarahi just rolled too much for walking.

I broke my fibula, knee and femur almost four months ago. Much hardware! I thought Hoka would offer support and cushioning. I was right. I've worn for years and will continue. This is a very comfortable and light weight show. Someone told me it runs large so I got an 8 but had to send back for 8 1/2 which is what I usually wear in sport shoe. Love it!

Lovely cushy flip flops, really feel great on tired feet after a run or long hike. Unlike the other reviewer, I would not say they run small.

The size for me was a half size too big even with new orthotics that were thicker. I liked the comfort but the boot was not tough enough for me for all the hiking I do and the Ultras do not come in women's sizes. Rocker bottom was great. I also like hooks on the top 2 lace-ups for easy on and off.

I purchased these sneakers in search of a stylish shoe with a lot of support. From the moment I tried them on to walking miles at Disney I absolutely fell inlove them. These shoes have the support I need (need full knee replacement soon) and was very pleased.

I got a 1/2 size larger based on reviews and others I talked to. These are the best shoes I have had on my feet in a very long time. I feel like I'm walking on that squishy playground stuff. It is great. I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and a partial achilles tear on one foot. I have tried many, many, many shoes and these feel the best by far.

Let me just say, I love the Hoka One One brand for fit and comfort, but not so much on style! Wish they could marry function with better form. These are my new favorite "around the house" show and back and forth to the gym, but NOT visually pleasing.

I'm a letter carrier and this shoe was recommended to me by a coworker. I walk 10 miles each day. In the two years I've been delivering mail, I've tried atleast 8 different pairs. Some were okay, some were awful. These are incredible. Absolutely worth the price to take care of my feet. Very thankful they have an all black choice.

Found that the show box was small called and did a live chat with Zappos and they are very nice and going to exchange for another Clifton ad for the same price I paid for these onlywith a wider width. I am very please with the customer service rep that I dealt with on the chat line and look forward t doing business with them in the future alsways

I have pure frustration with this brand of shoe. I LOVE the cushioning, and ever so much want these shoes to work, but Hoka One One's fit runs NARROW in the toebox. I DO NOT by any means have a wide foot. I have NEVER bought wide's and always have worn an 8 regular in running shoes. I have a normal, if not narrower foot. Every pair of 8 I try on pinches me on my pinky toe (even the wide toebox Bondie style); just enough to be frustrating. And it is also just ever so slightly short, but tolerable. When I go a half size up, the shoe looks too long, although it feel "ok", and somehow maintains the "pinch" feeling, but not has bad as the 8's. There are only a few styles that have wide widths and then they only offer ONE color in it. Somehow, this brand has fallen into that "grey" area of fit that I can't handle. IT's a great shoe, but Hoka One One needs to re-examine their fitting lasts, because I appear not to be the only one complaining about this.

As comfortable as these shoes are, they are ugly as sin and I can't bring myself to wear them. There's nothing wrong with the shoe, I'm just too vain!

I've worn about 6 pairs of Hokas because typically they are good for me as I am on my feet for long hours at a time. I ordered this pair based on the fact that many of the reviews said they have great arch support and are good for standing for long periods. I would just caution that these seem to have almost no arch support. You can feel it with your hands inside the shoe...it's nearly flat. I have good arches, far from flat feet, so these shoes aren't great for me. They also certainly aren't worth $160. If you want arch support, be prepared to have to purchase some good inserts.

These are wonderful shoes. I ordered a Medium and need a Wide. Other than the width, I am completely satisfied with Hoka One One.

Overall I'm happy with these shoes. I am new to running and have not been able to find shoes that were comfortable and supportive. These are the first shoes that make me forget about my feet when I'm running. I'm very happy with them. My only concern is that they may not last as long as I want.
