Love 'em! This is a fairly heavy, very solid boot. I had the older version, they were nearly indestructible, but had an oddly narrow fit. This version maintains the solid construction but is much more comfortable. Great support, incredible grip, makes my feet feel invincible. If you're used to a lighter low hiker these may feel a bit heavy.

Great shoes. I write this after owning them 5 years! So much support. And they are indestructible. Only thing I ended up modifying was the laces. Original aglets failed, so I put some heat shrink tubing in the ends. Again, super durable and can wear all day because of the great support. I have very high arches btw.

Husband has been wearing the Scarpa Mojito's at least the past 8 years. Glad to see they're being offered by Zappo's and in his large size (12.5). They are the only shoes he wants to wear because of their comfort and support. That's because one foot is slightly smaller than the other. I understand most people have this problem. If he buys shoes in the larger foot size, then the smaller foot feels too loose. If he buys shoes for the smaller foot size, then the larger foot feels too tight. The Scarpa Mojito has solved his problem. The extra long shoelace eyelets makes it possible to custom tighten or loosen whatever area of the shoe he needs to feel most comfortable in. He hasn't tried the other models that Scarpa makes because he's perfectly satisfied with the Mojito's. I myself thought the extra long shoelace pattern on the shoe looked strange, but am repeatedly surprised with the many compliments he gets from both men and women when wearing these shoes.

These shoes look good and feel good...when you first put them on. However, I must agree with the other reviewer who noticed that the long tongue with laces close to the toes becomes an issue. The tongue slips and makes a roll right at the nail bed of my toes, which become uncomfortable quickly. If you're in a position to readjust the tongue and laces frequently, you will enjoy these shoes and the complements they bring, but beware.

I love that these shoes are wide on the sides but don't look like clown shoes (Like Keens sometimes do). The shoes were comfortable right out of the box with padding around the ankle. The color is fun without being obnoxious.

Very well made shoes. A little small for their size, so I would suggest ordering 1/2 size larger than your usual size. Take a little while to break in, but then feel very comfortable and sort of like having bare feet. The padding on the ball of the foot is a little thin, but the heal support is great. They look fantastic. I wish that more colors were available in the US (there are many colors available in EU).

Great starter climbing shoe. Keep in mind that when picking a climbing shoe you want one that is a tight fit. These shoes also break in a little bit so if you get them and they fit perfectly get a size or a half a size smaller. Overall i am very happy with my purchase.

Great shoe, and the blue color is so pretty. It will go well with athletic wear as well as jeans. I really like the simply stylish designing. My husband purchased the men's version a few months ago and loves it.

I bought these after trying to find the most information on best beginner shoes and trying different brands at a local store. I really like that they are leather and the velcro straps pull from opposite sides. It really helps getting a tight fit. I typically buy 10.5 shoes so I went with 43 (US M 10). They are snug but not uncomfortable. They are a big upgrade from the rentals at the gym.

I normally take a 6 in all shoes and boots. They do run big. So i ordered a 5 1/2, which are perfect for my normal wideth foot. Great ankle support, comfortable right out of the box. I walked for hours, and my feet were very happy. They look great too, i got alot of compliments. Will order morem of this style, when new colors come in!

Shoes were nice but very heavy, which is OK if there is balance. They were too deep for my foot and no amount of innersoles, etc. took care of that. Well built, but maybe for someone with a "thicker" foot

I bought these for my husband. He really liked them but will be reordering a half size larger as they ran a bit small.

I intended to buy these for hiking on steep rocky terrain. Haven't tried them out yet but they look great! Zappos is amazing with exchanges. I ordered one size too large because I wanted to give my toes ample space especially on downhill but after they arrived I decided they were too big. I called that afternoon and exchanged for a half size smaller. They arrived in just 2 days and they lay perfectly! Half size larger than your typical size is probably the best bet! Your feet will swell a bit on a looong days hike so having some extra space in your shoes will make a difference. Your toes will thank you too on downhill! True to size, they fit me like a custom shoe - very comfy and super warm! Can't wait to try them out! Been eyeing these babies for a year now waiting for a price drop. They have great reviews and unfortunately pricey! But I found it's not worth buying cheap and then having to replace too soon or risk injury or slip. I own a winter pair of scarpas - amazing quality of their products. Big fan!

Scarpas are my go to boot. They last a long time. Not too expensive considering its an all leather upper with breathable lining.

Hot spots everywhere even with Darn Tough padded socks. I get that they are supposed to be like a sock but these are by far the most uncomfortable boots I have ever worn. The sizing is also way off. I'm a 10, so a 10.5 should give me room to spare. It was a struggle to put these on even with thin wool socks. Garbage.

Amazing shoe. Solid, quality construction that puts to shame other shoes in the same category. They do require a brief break-in period, but I like that because it tells me they'll go the distance.

This is my third pair of Zens, first pair of GTX mids. The shoes are super durable, supportive and work across multiple uses. I use them for everything. Cutting wood in the yard, hiking, mountain biking, camping and an occasional trip to the office. They work well up a slab(ish) climb and I love the toe protection. Very worthwhile purchase if you are looking for the do anything go anywhere shoe.

Initially, I was really excited about these boots. However, I'm a lot less satisfied than I thought I would be. I rarely ever have to scale up in size, but I definitely recommend buying a half size up in this boot. My biggest complaint is that I can't get a good ankle lock. The boot lacks a set back ankle rivet gromit thing (sorry, I don't know the nomenclature). That doesn't allow for a good ankle lock. I'll have to experiment with some creative boot lacing to see if I can get a good ankle lock that way. The boot does not have a removable insole which is strange and will likely be inconvenient in the future. Lastly, these boots make my feet sweat a lot. I suspect it's due to the Goretex lining.
