Size: These run small. I'm usually a size 45 and had to size up to 46. I was also considering Giro Terraduro shoes and had to size up to 46 in those as well. Pedal Compatibility: The Giros in size 46 did not work with my Crankbrothers Mallet E pedals (too small of Q factor - they hit the crank arm). These Shimanos work perfect and I feel they are a better shoe. They work well with the egg beater pedals and I imagine they work even better with a SPD pedal. Pedaling and walking: These have a stable pedal platform but the forefoot flexes enough to allow you to walk up rocky terrain. The outsole is sticky on the pedals without being clipped in thanks to Michelin rubber. You can adjust the cleats on these pedals further back than most XC shoes which helps with a more aggressive stance to tackle fast downhill lines. Buckle/Laces: I was leary of getting these tight with the pull string bottom but it works great. Top ratchet mechanism is a great idea and works flawlessly. I think these are the go to Enduro or Trail pedal for 2017.

Runs small. I have another pair of shimanos in same size that fit perfect but I needed the next size up on this style.

Love these new spin shoes. I use them solely for spin classes but you could use them for outdoor as well. They look really good on. I will say they seem a little narrow.

These spin shoes are high quality and very comfortable. I've used them several times in spin class. I bought the cleats separate. They are easy to attach. I'm a 9-9.5 in shoes... I got the 42(9.5) and they are great. There's some room so my feet can swell naturally as most feet do during excercise. You won't be disappointed with these.

My husband usually wears a size 13 shoe and the 48 works for him. Serviceable shoe for indoor spin classes.

These shoes run small! I normally rent a 42 in all different brands of spin shoes at the multiple studios I frequent, but both the 42 and 43 were way too small. I wear a size 11 regular shoe but the 42s at the studio are always fine...maybe they get stretched out from multiple people wearing them? Either way, size up for these Shimanos.

Need to buy cleats to attach to these shoes, but they will be good for use in indoor spin classes. My husband wears a size 13 shoes normally and was surprised that the 48 fit just fine.

Very comfortable cycling shoes. They run a little small so go up a half size. These feel well-built and seem like they're going to hold up. Shimanos come with a lifetime warranty so if these shoes ever crack, take them into an authorized shop and they'll take care of it for you.

Runs a little bigger than I thought, I wear a 7.5 to 8, depending on how wide the shoe is. I ordered a 40 european. These really fit well with room for socks and insoles. I use for spin class and love them. Will use with road bike too. Good purchase for me.

Got these for my road bike and Shimano SPD pedals, the combo works great, easy to clip in. Very stiff bottom (which is good) with two vents, comfortable tongue. I normally wear a 7 in athletic shoes and ordered a 7.2 (size 39) and the fit was just right. If it runs small, it only runs a little small, in my opinion.

I am basically obsessed and in love with these shoes! They are a great value and are super comfortable. I use them almost daily for my indoor spin classes with SPD cleats. I have found that most indoor cycling studios that provide shoes use this shoe. They fit true to size and I love the blue/black combination.

I purchased these clips for my Shimano SH-RP200 cycle shoes. I use them for indoor spin class and I am really liking them! I haven't had any issues clipping in or out of the bike.

Great cleats Make sure to secure them tightly so they don't move while using the bike

I wear a 9.5 and a size 42 fit perfectly. I wear these for an indoor spin class and they work great. The velcro straps make them easy to put on and comfortable, since you can adjust how tight you want them to fit. I would definitely buy these again.

These are the standard cleats that are compatible with most indoor cycling bikes used in spin classes. If you just bought a pair of Shimano cycling/spin shoes and need cleats, then look no further. Very easy to put on and adjust with an allen wrench. These are also the cleats needed for SPD pedals if you are into cycling (same hardware on pedals used in spin classes). If you buy these in error and find that they do not work with your pedals, then have no fear! Zappos has an amazing return policy and I'm sure they will help you!

After spinning for a year I figured I might actually like it. LOL Soni decided to invest in my own shoes. I can't speak for road cycling in them (although I do that too in the warmer months) but these are perfect for spin classes. Easy on and off with the Velcro straps and the Velcro allows you to cinch them in three places for a custom fit. I'm a newbie to bike shoes so I did not know these do not come with the metal cleats that allow you to "clip in" to your bike. Check with your club or your bike to see which kind they use so you order the correct metal cleats.

Shoes fits well for my wide foot but very disappointed that the shoes were shipped without the plate to attach the cleats too. I was aware that I needed to purchase cleats separately but was disappointed that I had to go out to cycle shop to buy a bottom plate too.

I needed to replace a pair of old spin shoes and decided to try these out. They are fantastic! Meaning, they are perfect for indoor spinning classes and also look great. Easy to slip on and off, and it's easy to adjust the fit due to the velcro. However, the sizing may be off. I ordered a size 41 since I wear an 8.5 in regular shoes. But they are definitely too big. My original spin shoes were a size 39 so I just reordered these in that size. Happy with the shoe itself though. Also, keep in mind that cleats do not come with these shoes, so you must order those separately.

I purchased this cleat assembly back in 2012 as a gift for use with a pair of Shimano shoes. The installation was easy and both the shoes and cleats are still in tip top shape and used on (at least) a weekly basis!

Perfect shoe for my wide, square feet. I tend to wear a 42 but got these in 43 and they fit great. I wear these to commute. Walking around is plenty comfy if you can get past the cleat grinding (I use spd's, YMMV with Time or Eggbeater cleats).
