Started running barefoot twice a week and discovered I am a natural barefoot runner. This is my first five finger and fits almost perfect and gives you the barefoot running experience. I recommend this product if you are a.natural barefoot runner.

I like the barefoot feel of this shoe. Snug on the first fit but perfect shortly after. I follow Mark Sisson and wear these daily. Breaking my muscles in has been only mildly uncomfortable and was able to walk a few miles the first time out.

This is an awesome shoe. It's almost like wearing a regular tennis shoe because of the thickness. I ordered a size up and yes they run small. So I think thin socks would work with sizing up but if you want to wear thick socks I'd go for maybe the cvt wool pair and a size up. The thing with this model is the toes are smaller and so the thick sock wouldn't work if you sized up twice it would be way too long I'd say. I have 13 pairs of vibrams so what would I know! But I like them anyway. They are very grippy and look cool with jeans.

These shoes are great for swimming and doing aerobics in a pool. They drain water which keeps them light, and the design allows you to point and flex your foot as you are kicking. They are also sturdy enough to wear outdoors a little bit. Zappos' fitting guide (I actually traced my foot on a piece of white paper and measured from my longest toe to the heel to get a perfect fit), plus video of how to put them on, and free return policy makes these a breeze to buy. They are comfortable, good for toe separation, and help with balance. Rinse them in cold water and and hang in tub to dry. I LOVE these shoes!!

I love these shoes. The straps give them a little style. They provide decent protection for my feet. I found them to be just a bit small. The other pair of size 40 five fingers I have is loose, these are snug.

Look great. Can't wait to wear them, but I need one size larger.

This is my first venture into the minimalist shoe world. I was intrigued with this style due to my feet being profoundly flat, collapsed really. For flat feet, these types of shoes allow the foot and toes to be in their natural more spread position and not be compressed into a tight fixed arch positioning. All that made sense to me and I thought I'd give them a try. Reading that sizing is all important (should fit like a glove is what they say), I first went to the Vibram web site and used their sizing chart. It suggested a size 44. Receiving those it quickly became apparent that 44 was way to small. Zappos exchanged the 44's for 45's. They too were too small. Zappos exchanged those for 46's. These fit like a glove. Now, I can attest to their supreme comfort for my old flat feet. This will be my regular 'go to' shoe. And, thanks Zappos for the premier service; absolutely outstanding in every way.

I prefer being barefoot or close to it, but my local gym requires close-toed shoes. I hoped VFFs would give me a close to barefoot feel, and the mesh on these made me hopeful they would let my feet breathe and wouldn't develop a stench, but I didn't like the fit when they arrived so I'm sending them back. The fit wasn't horrible, but they weren't wide enough to suit my foot (C/D width), and the sole was rigid enough that it was difficult to splay my toes. When I tried to splay my toes, I had room to move them, but the sole material didn't bend with my toes and instead my pinkie toes pressed against the toe pocket fabric. I spent about half an hour with these shoes on my feet (inside) to see how they felt, and they didn't feel horrible, but my feet immediately felt much less constrained after taking the shoes off. Not the barefoot-like experience I was hoping for. The elastic also uncomfortably dug into my heel at the back. It's possible these problems would have gone away after wearing the shoes for a time, or stretching them out, but I didn't try anything like that. I am a late-20s/early-30s woman who's sortof out of shape and does not have super strong feet. If you don't usually mind shoes these would might be fine, but the "barefoot-like" experience was wanting for me.

It really feels like being barefoot. Unfortunately my big toe's nail is poking through the material. I fear, it might break the cloth eventually. That's why I'm returning the shoe.

I have tried other vibrams and find myself always going back to these. I love them because they are so comfortable and versatile. They fit my running needs but have also proved to be good hiking sneakers as well!

I wear a woman's 8, and ordered these in 40. They definitely suck to put on - the opening is tight to slip over the heel once the toes are in, but this is really my only complaint. I'm writing this review with them on just out of the box. I love them. They look amazing. They feel great. The sole is thicker than the Alitza Loops, and they feel snugger over the big toe. Not uncomfortable. More supportive, I'd say. I imagine there will be a little break in. They really do feel great.

LOVE!! I have always been intrigued with Vibram's FiveFinger shoes but could never pull the trigger. These are fabulous!! Let me start by staying I love being barefoot but it's not always great on my feet or safe. These are the next best thing. I normally wear a 7 1/2 or 8 and have a very wide foot. These fit great. I will say that a couple of the toes were a bit long but I think that is better and it didn't bother my gait. The bottom of these has a little wider footbed which is good. Alot of reviews were not fans of the back piece at the heel. I haven't had any problems with it at all. It doesn't rub or feel funny. These do have a little arch support which is nice. These will be great for the summer. Don't think I could take long walks on gravel/pavement in them but no problem wearing them all day. And let's be honest they don't "look" very good on but I really don't care. So glad I finally purchased a pair.

I've owned many, many Vibram Five Fingers over the last decade or so, and these are by far my favorite. No longer can my lady friends chide me for only wearing "ugly" shoes- these easily pass for strappy sandals at a distance, and go well with dressier outfits than most VFFs. As a huge fan of the original KSO, I thought the open sides would be awful, but I walk all over urban environments and almost never have a problem with random loose rocks, etc. I typically wear a size 5.5/6 and the 36 fits comfortably (maybe a hair too big but the straps keep them on; I add moleskin to the inside under the heel to keep them from making a slapping suction noise while walking).

I thought I would give theses a shot as I love the V-B: ) Why o why did I do that, reading the reviews I thought I would love them. The V-B is such a better model so these never made it out of the house. No worries, I will buy two V-B as the V-S will be returned, it's too flimsy and the straps are as annoying as I expected. My advice, stick to V-B; )

I LOVE these so much that I bought a backup pair. Very flattering and discreet enough that you have to look twice to tell they're "toe shoes". I just can't with the more sporty versions of VFF for around town/casual wear, but the Vi-S is ideal for this purpose. SIZING: same as my KomodoSport LS, size 39. I can fit a 38, but they're too short in the toes for ultimate comfort. I cannot scrunch my toes to pop them out of the pockets in the 39 for either the Vi-S or the Komodo. FIT: looser than the Komodo and a lot more comfortable due to the more pliable sole. PURPOSE: To live in. These are NOT intended for intense activity but can easily handle every day life, play in the yard with the kids, yoga, lifting and easy trails. Put them on and forget about them. Liken them to ballet flats...you wouldn't wear your ballet flats to trail run, right? Same for these. I can wear the Komodo for the super intense stuff...for everything else the Vi-S is golden. STRAPS: Love them. They do make a difference in how the securely the shoe fits: I usually just leave them fairly loose: I don't really need, or enjoy super secure shoes for just kicking around so it's nice to be able to adjust them when desired. The straps are simple to figure out and should they ever give way, will be easy to repair DIY.

Love Vibrams, own several pair over the years. I bought these specifically for my hot yoga class to prevent foot slips. While oddly comfortable considering being too narrow, I am returning. Part of my bare foot would literally be on the ground if I ever wore outside. Plus the strap is very annoying.

I love these shoes. This is the most comfortable pair of vibrams I have tried. They slip on and off easily but are secure enough with the straps to be used for running.

These shoes are fantastic. I was worried about the divided toe look, but I've actually received compliments on these shoes. They are super comfortable, although there is definitely no arch support. I would suggest ordering my European size rather than by American shoe size.
