I waited a long time to buy this oven. I love countertop ovens and have used them for many years. I read a lot of great reviews about it but the price had forced to me wait. I have put it through several tests to see how well it performs and it does perform well so far. Very even baking, no hotspots so far. I haven\'t had to rotate a pan yet which is usually a hallmark of a well designed oven. The controls are intuitive and very thorough in its offerings. It even offers settings that distinguish between frozen and fresh pizza and sizes almost every size pizza. The toast function worked well actually. You can set not only the darkness but indicate how many pieces you are toasting. A single piece was very evenly toasted. Like almost every countertop oven, the exterior does get hot. Great product. I sure hope it lasts since so many items these days don\'t.

I bought this toaster oven for my mom for her birthday. She has found love once again in her life. It does everything. She makes toast and bakes cakes, heats up pizza and warms leftovers. Best gift ever!

I had been considering something like this for a while and when I read a review of the Breville Smart Oven in Consumer Report I knew it was the one I wanted. This oven can do everything! It bakes, roasts, toasts and is also a convection oven. It is easy to use, cleans up nicely and is easy to store. The fact that I could purchase from Zappos was an added bonus! It arrived in two days and I have been using it almost non-stop. If you are looking for something that you can use instead of your big oven, I would recommend this model. Breville does make another model without the convection but I like that option.

No more microwaves for us! Ours broke and we replaced it with this oven. We love it! We've had it for about three weeks now and have used it most days for toasting, broiling, warming or baking. Can't think of one negative thing to say! It works well and is really nice looking.

Great little oven. We are a family of two so this is about all the oven we need 90% of the time. The programmed settings are very handy and easy to operate. Also looks nice as we have been upgrading our kitchen.

I LOVE this oven! I wanted a small oven that could broil, bake and toast in order to avoid using my kitchen oven to cook small quantities of food. It was silly to use that much electricity to bake 2 potatoes or 4 cookies. I also wanted to reheat leftovers without using a microwave. This oven is really nice looking and I love the easy-to-use dials to adjust time and temperature. I like that you can add or subtract time just by turning the bottom dial. So far I've broiled fish and chicken, baked French macarons, reheated dinners and made toast. Everything has turned out perfectly. The only feature I haven't tested out yet is the convection bake, which I hope to try this weekend. This is one of my favorite kitchen purchases. I highly recommend it.

Cooking small party pizzas and using it as a toaster oven have saved us quite a bit of heat and electricity in the house. It preheats to 450 in about 3 minutes, as opposed to our house oven that does that in about 20 minutes. It comes with a nice pizza pan and a couple very nice racks. Typical Breville quality here.

Fabulous toaster oven! Large enough to act as a second oven. Even cooking. Love the way the rack pulls out when you open the door and so you do not burn yourself getting the toast out of the oven. Very pleased! And Zappos is the best!

This is a fantastic toaster oven! It's large enough to roast a chicken or a pork loin or roast, but it also makes perfect toast and bagels. I've even baked bread in here. It heats up fast and cooks fast. It'll even fit pans with short handles, like a 10" Lodge cast-iron skillet. The buttons do feel a little cheap, and it does put off a significant amount of heat off the top (some see this as a feature, for warming plates), but for the expressed function of cooking food, you'd be hard pressed to find a better toaster oven.

I have toasted bagels, bread, english muffins in the Breville and they all come out uniformly toasted. It is great for warming bread. It is much better than the cuisinart I had before. The crumb tray is in front so it is easy to remove. I got the recommendation for it from Cooks Illustrated.

This is the most satisfactory small appliance I have ever owned. Sweeter still, was purchasing it from Zappo's, with no shipping charges. I couldn't be happier. This is well worth the higher cost from the rest of the toaster ovens.

Fantastic oven. It is the first toaster-oven I've owned that actually works as described. I threw out my Cusinart oven because I could not get it to toast bread properly - either burnt or unevenly toasted. This one toasts! I've only used it a few times for baking, but it keeps the set temperature - checked it with oven thermometer - and everything has come out perfectly. I love the self-ejecting rack - no burnt hands. Overall, a wonderful product.

Love it. Though I live in Chicago, and a lot of the year the kitchen heating up via the gas oven isn't a big deal -- or is good, summer it isn't. And frankly, given it is only two of us, sometimes I don't want a full oven to heat/cook something (that has to be done in oven) via a full oven.
