The best tennis shoe ever. I wear orthotics for my right foot - haven't even needed to insert them because of the support they offer. They are light as a feather & so very comfortable. My feet are very happy in my Red shoes. Bought 1 size larger due to the need for wide width & orthotics.

The best running shorts ever. I've run several marathons in these. The holster pockets fit in gels and the like, or iPods and other stuff. Love them, and own four pairs.

I have had 3 surgeries on my foot the Brooks Ariel is the only shoe I can wear comfortably. Love this shoe and the customer service person that helped me order them.

What an awesome looking shoe. I got mine in the red/tan colors. The shoe is lightweight, super comfortable and well made. Despite this, I had to send mine back because the elastic on the instep squeezed my foot and became uncomfortable after a while. I tried them for a few hours and got worse. Granted, I have a high instep so this might not be a problem for others. If this shoe came in wide, it might help people like me. Brooks, if you read your product reviews, please make the PureGrit in wide!

This should probably size up half size. Overall, when I put them on, my college-aged sons forced me to remove them and thought they were uber dorky. Not that I'm all that sensitive, but from a styling standpoint, they really are old guys' shoes. Even my wife groaned.

Love these shoes! Right out of the box ran 4 miles with no issues. Works great on road and treadmill. Ordered 1/2 size up and they fit perfectly. They are by far the most comfortable running shoes I've ever owned.

While I absolutely loved the colors I found the shoe to be on the uncomfortable side. The arch supports are weak and the sole feels hard under my foot. I am going to send these back and try something else.

Love these shoes! I am a very low mileage runner that has had Nike Free's and a New Balance Minimus/ Those shoes were okay for Cross-fit but not appropriate for running. The Brooks are a perfect fit, comfort, and support compromise. I have wide feet and ordered 1/2 sixe bigger.

I tried these for a week and my feet and legs feel unbelievably great! These shoes take comfort to a new level. The size was a little smaller than a true fit, at least for me. So I ordered a second pair half a size bigger and they fit perfectly. Zappos is excellent to deal with. The ship fast ship, make returns easy and have good customer service. As the old commercial says "Try it, you'll like it."

Awesome running shoe! I am a long-time Brooks Adrenaline junky, took a chance on these based on glowing reviews and I am very glad I did. They seem similar but much lighter. Highly recommended!

These shoes are absolutely amazing! So light and flawlessly comfortable! I was a runner in track and have tried every brand of shoes and these are the best most comfortable and ergonomic for running I have ever felt

I bought these shoes for comfort and for ease of use. I have a lot of foot issues (MN & PF) so it's been hard to find shoes that I can wear for an extended period of time. These are good walking shoes. I bought them big, both in size and width, because my feet are real sensitive and are inclined to swelling. Took out the insole and replaced it with a thick squishy orthotic. The only significant downside to this shoe is that it is heavier than I like. However, it is comfortable and supportive.

Best walking shoes I have tried. Ordered them in black. Will definitely order more of these. Extremely comfortable. Zappos' service is great. I am still waiting for a call back from a local shoe store that I called a month ago about whether they could get these shoes in my size!

No break in time required. True to size and comfortable with good support.

My son is the pickiest about his running shoes. Swore he wouldn't wear spikes because they didn't come in wide. Bought these just to make him try. He said, "these actually aren't bad." Just ordered them a 1/2 size larger than he wears.

Love this shoe! True to size and width. Extra room in the toe area. Good heel to toe walking. Waterproof makes this shoe perfect. My second pair. I have a neutral foot and the fit is excellent.

Been using Asics Nimbus for some time. Tried these and feel they are too squishy and soak energy out of my legs. Very comfortable for walking around though.

Very comfortable! I over pronate and as a result have bad plantar fasciitis, these shoes have been great for those conditions. The size 5 fit me perfectly. Some 5's tend to be just a little bit too big for me, but the Brooks fit great.

Finally found a shoe that had the cushioning, good arch support, comfortable back not to high and stiff but narrow enough in the heel and wide enough in the toe box that I need for my RA and fibromyalgia problems with feet. I usually take a 7 1/2 but an 8 fits perfectly in this shoe. Thank you Zappos for your excellent service and I will definitely try other Brooks and will shop again with Zappos.

Shoe is comfortable in most areas except a little tight in area at the base of the laces, behind the toes. I haven't run in them enough yet to determine whether this is a problem. So far, it has not caused any foot discomfort.
