  • Butter London™ created a line of high-fashion nail color that is completely toxin-free: no formaldehyde, no toluene, no DBP. These posh polishes come in a range of colors from mild to wild and everything in between. All with fun Brit-inspired color names!
  • Color names and descriptions: (note that some colors may currently be out of stock)
All the Queen - A neutral nude beige with tiny holographic sparkles.
Artful Dodger - A true teal-trendy without trying too hard.
Aston - Sultry toffee color that looks like a million quid.
Big Smoke - Mildly metallic navy blue as naughty as a night in a smoky pub.
    Blowing Raspberries - Deliciously berry.
Branwen's Feather - Purple-ish black with loads of depth and shine.
British Racing Green - Dark hunter green - a fave during fall fashion weeks.
Bumster - Inspired by Alexander McQueen's perilously-low bumster pants. A yummy buttery yellow.
Chancer - Deep "crushed glitter* red
Cheeky Chops - A happy banana color.
Chimney Sweep - A little sexy, a bit dirty, this metallic charcoal grey is hot, hot, hot.
Come to Bed Red - The name says it all. A true seductress red.
Cream Tea - Barely there and ever so sweet. Pale and creamy, an alternative to your standard clear or sheer pink.
Dahling - You don't have to be darling all the time. Sometimes a deep, dusty pink is the ticket and very posh, indeed.
Diamond Geezer - Platinum, silvery and shiny. Finger bling that looks like the real thing... but not.
Fash Pack - Putty meets mushroom. This chic color just works.
Frilly Knickers - Iridescent pastel glitter that looks like sprinkles on your nails. Lifts and embellishes other colors, but is also beautiful alone.
HRH - A proper royal purple.
Henley Regatta - Glitters like the Thames on a sunny day, this fusion of green and blue glitter varies in intensity depending on the light.
Hen Party - A sheer opal that is neutral and stunning alone, and utterly on-trend as an edgy overcoat.
Hoorah Henri - One part clear, one part vanilla cream, two parts love.
Jaffa - A juicy orange color-seedless but potent.
La Moss - Vampy and full of red wine... just like its inspiration.
    MacBeth - An orangey coral.
Marrow - Hand-mixed for the Vena Cava designers, this dark purple is positively posh.
Minger - An edgy burnt orange that "ups" the fashion factor for any outfit.
Muggins - Not your mum's lilac! An opaque shade that packs a real punch.
Old Blighty - Good, solid brick color--somewhere between red and brown.
Pearly Queen - Winter white with pearl sheen. A very soft and wearable shade for when you want to look prim and proper.
Pillar Box Red - A good red that will make you feel your best... even when you're faking it.
Pink Ribbon- A classic French pink.
Primrose Hill Picnic - Happy, punchy tropical fuschia pink. Like running barefoot at the park.
Queen Vic - Elegant red wine meets cranberry. A color fit for a queen.
Rosie Lee - A parade of pale pink glitter.
Royal Navy - Nautical and naughty, this navy is the answer to your dark lacquer dreams.
Saucy Jack - Dark blood red.
    Scoundrel - A medium-tone purplish mauve.
Snog - Bright, happy hot pink.
Tea with the Queen - Pinky tan that's neutral but never boring.
Thames - A soft, blue-green stunner, with just a tiny undercurrent of gold.
The Full Monty - Full-on molten gold that's never brassy.
The Old Bill - Beautiful copper with an antiqued patina... for sophisticated metalheads.
Tramp Stamp - The color of dark chocolate. Delicious and forbidden, but not particularly sweet, like teenage English boys.
Victoriana - A fab blue-green with sparkle galore.
West End Wonderland - Classic gold varnish worthy of Studio54.
Union Jack Black - Jet black and uber-glossy, this goes on like liquid patent leather.
Yummy Mummy - This medium beige is stunning on every skin tone.

I love the color MacBeth! When you order nail polish online sometimes you cannot be sure the color is accurate to what is being shown. I wanted a nice orangey color. Macbeth seemed to be selling out fast so I took a chance and I am so glad I did. The consistency of the polish makes it easy to paint on your nails. Sometimes you get a polish that is too runny but this is perfect. I love the descriptions of the nail polishes they really give a great accurate description. I will definitely be getting more of the different colors. This is the second time I ordered a nail polish and it did takes over a week and was separate from the other items in my shopping bag. I am not sure why. Maybe it comes from another location, but a week is kind of a long time so if you order nail polish order it earlier than you might need it. I was surprised because normally you get things super fast but not the nail polishes. But other that this is super awesome nail polish and Zappos!

I got this color in Yummy Mummy after reading so many positive reviews online and while I did like it, it wasn't exactly life changing! Haha! Maybe it's because I'm used to wearing really dark colors (I also have this in La Moss and love it), but it seemed a little blah to me. But, if you're looking for a nice, neutral, plain color, this is definitely it!

This review is for the Rosie Lee color (pinkish glitter), which I bought to wear around the holidays. It is beautiful in the bottle and on your nails, at first. I've tried it twice, with a top coat, and then without. And both times it chipped within the first day, on almost all nails. And then it was near impossible to remove, even using really strong nail polish remover. Again, it's lovely, but at least the glitter colors have a few major flaws.

This color is very true to the picture. My daughter wanted a nice shiny sparkly silver...not a gray, but a real silver and she definitely got it. Polish went on smooth, looked great and lasted a really long time! Also loved HRH - an awesome purple.

Love the color and consistency of this product. The color is All Hail the Queen, and it was my first Butter London polish. Will try more in the future but price makes one think about pacing it out. Zappos is amazing as well and will use this site again for sure.

I have a nail polish fetish lately. I got butter london polish 6 months ago. I got the color diamond geezer; it is a fun color that looks fine. However, for the price it has the same stay power, about a week on your nails. It chips like other polish; it's not really all that special. And a few other brands also take out those 3 harmful ingredients for less money. But I might still get another bottle.

Butter London has become my go to polish! I've been a fan of Essie and OPI for years, but have been waiting for Butter to come to the US! The colors are so vibrant and imaginative! I purchased the Butter London base and top coats as well - let me tell you, although the prices may be a bit higher than other brands, it's more than worth your money! If you do your own mani/pedi's you're going to love the results! It goes on so perfectly smooth and thick, and best of all - dries in a flash! It lasts well over a week on my fingers (I'm pretty rough and generally go two to three days before I have to start over and re-paint)! I do put an additional top coat on every other day or so just to give it some added protection. But absolutely brilliant product that will get you loads of compliments on!

This purchase was actually my second bottle of Victoriana. I really like the formula and color, and a friend who saw it on me wanted it too! The blue and silver together in this polish is really rich looking. It is almost like a rich brocade fabric. Don't hesitate to get this one and you'll love it!

I bought Teddy Girl because it was featured on Victoria Beckham's models during her spring/summer 2011 fashion show. It's a pale bubblegum pink. I got a lot of compliments. My only complaint is that you need three coats for it to be evenly opaque. Otherwise, I love the formula! Went on smoothly, lasted a long time and didn't chip so worth the money!
