Corso Como Reviews
Leaves/beads add a little style without being overwhelming. No a lot of arch support, but comfortable footbed.
Very nice, just a little tight on my foot and felt a bit smaller than marked. I have size 11.5-12 feet and couldn't go up another size.
I love the look and comfort of these shoes, but the leather is so soft that the back of the heel was scuffed right through the first time I wore them (partly from driving in them, but also from just walking), and has only gotten worse. I'm getting a strip of tougher leather added to the back so they last a bit longer.
I love this shoe. I bought a pair of the coral butterskin and liked them so much when they arrived I ordered a pair of the black snakeskin right away. They are trendy and feminine but comfortable and casual too. I'm a fan of minimalist shoes so the barefoot feeling is perfect for me. Think the level of support in a Havaiana flip flop. If you need arch support or something that can hold up to foul weather, these are not the shoes you need. They are also not formal enough for a work shoe unless your office is very casual. I usually wear a 10.5 medium in a structured shoe and I ordered the 10 in these and it fits perfectly.
I'm bummed that these didn't work better. I loved the previous version of this shoe, the Festive, and owned something like 8 pairs. These come in some great new colors but sadly the shoes have changed. They seem to be stiffer than the Festive shoe and the liner fabric has changed to something that doesn't seem to breathe as well. I wore these around the house and they dug into my heel and made my toes sweat. Sad to be returning them.
I love this shoe. I am wearing the royal blue color on my wedding day. I am so excited! I have bunions and the flexibility of the leather makes the shoe wonderfully comfortable. There isn't much arch support but look at them, they are basically socks. I love that I get to finally wear a pair of flats that don't kill my feet.
These are cute, unique taupe, but they were quite snug in the toebox as the shoe tries to fold itself on your foot (the leather hugs your toes). I was willing to withstand a little discomfort, but unfortunately the shoes started to fall apart on the first wearing. The sole started to separate from the shoe -- at first not so bad -- nothing a little Shoe Goo couldn't fix -- but then the sole really started separating at the heel and toe box on both shoes. They look horrible now after 5-6 wearings and can't be worn any longer. Into the garbage they go. Would have expected higher quality for a flat at this price. The insoles are also fabric, not leather, so if you wear these without socks, expect your shoes to get a little stinky.
I'm disappointed in these. My last pair of Corso Como boots had nice leather but these have cheap stiff leather.
Don't love these as much as I thought I would. The fabric doesn't look nearly as nice as the leather version. But they are still comfortable. Great for a day in the office or a night out where you aren't doing a ton of walking.
These are some standard (elastic-flexible) flats - nothing too exceptional from any others like this that I have seen. I have a very similar pair from the ICON company but the exterior is durable because it is made out of leather. I range between a 7-7.5 and the 7 fit fine. The exterior material is a soft, permeable elastic cloth fabric which will stretch and mold to your foot - not too durable in a wet environment. I ordered the Aqua Python print, which is a little bit more teal than the photo, but they're still pretty cool. I'm not very impressed with the "sock" that lines each of these flats (the fabric catches on my trimmed toenails and feels like the static chamois cloth I use to dry my car). It's lined and secured along the outward seam, so I can feel my foot sliding around the shoe due to the sock being loose where it's not secured down. I would have expected the socks to be removable for washing - but no, they are stitched to the shoe. The package says the shoes cannot be immersed in water but must be washed with a damp towel if necessary. The fabric feels soft enough to be hand washed though - so that's disappointing. I guess I just expected more from Corso Como (as the padding in most of their shoes is very nice) for the price of these flats. Thanks to Zappos for the speedy delivery though. I'm much more impressed with the Guess Edel flats I ordered (super cushioned & soft) as well as the all leather flats from the Vintage shoe company which are very much worth the price for the supreme quality and durability.
Pretty fuchsia pink; Leather lined but there is a cushioned spot under the ball of the foot with breath holes through which synthetic can be seen and felt. If you need a totally leather lined shoe because you react to synthetics, this one may not be it. On the other hand the cushion is great to have if that's not a problem. I also think style wise looks better on large or wide feet because of the wide top than on petite feet. Still, at any size the color will likely get compliments.
I wear a 7.5 normally but needed an 8. Cushioned leather footbed very comfortable despite heel. Color is more orange-coral than pink-coral but not bright orange.
So, not only did these run small and feel flimsy on the foot, but Zappos sent me the wrong color! Guess no loss since I wasn't going to keep them after I had a chance to try them on anyway. Disappointed but will order from Zappos again. Will just try a different style. Really puzzled as to how these shoes got such great ratings...I'm really not a hard customer to please!
I bought these shoes and was so excited to wear them before I actually had them on. They're too tight and too small even though they're my size. I liked the look of them so much that I thought I could stretch them out. I wore them for a whole day and my feet paid the price. Now I can't return them because I wore them for a day. I'm very disappointed.
I saw these sandals get mixed reviews for fit on several different sites, but decided to give them a try anyways since they looked so cute. I am glad I did! I got the aluminum, and the silver leather is beautiful, soft, not too shiny, and very high quality. The fit is definitely a bit on the narrow side, but that worked OK for me. I have somewhat narrow heels but a wider front portion of my foot. I bought my usual size (11) and it fit great. I actually like the narrowness of the sandals, as they hug the feet better than most styles that I try, and feel very secure on. I think I will get a lot of wear out of these!
If you're looking for flats that still feel like shoes with arch support and a thicker sole, these are not for you. But if you're looking for flats that feel, except for the additional protection to your feet, like you're comfortably walking barefoot, this is exactly what you want. They fit snugly on me but not tightly (really not meant for wearing with socks), and I love that they bend when my foot bends. I also enjoy the fabric; sort of sock lining, keeps my feet from getting sweaty and sliding around. I'm going to have to order more of these in different colors.
I bought these boots to be my go to winter boot. After wearing them for a month or two the heel starting to rub away and I could actually see inside the shoe. After 5 months of wearing them the zipper broke off completely. I admit that I wore these shoes probably every other day...so it was inevitable that they would be worn down, but I did not think it would be this much. I am disappointed with the quality of this boot. I probably won't buy this brand again.
These are really beautiful shoes, that are very well-made, with really good quality soft leather. I was looking forward to these sandals, but I was really disappointed when I tried them on, because the front of my feet just slips through the crossing straps with no way of tightening them (they are not sewed into place where they cross over). The length and width of the soles were fine, until I walked, and then I would hang out the front with a gap in the back because of the strap design. Tightening the buckle did not help. Maybe the front of my feet are just narrow (though I have never had this problem before and always order a medium width). I was curious and had my friend try them on too, (because she has wider front parts of her feet and is half a size bigger) and, although the front of her feet did not slip through like mine did, she had the outer front edges of her feet hanging slightly off the side of the sandals (which would be touching ground because the sandals are flat). So I do not really know what to say about the design/sizing issues. Maybe you will have better luck. Sadly these have to go back for me. I do love Zappos' customer service though.
Beautiful and comfortable shoe, if not for my wide foot. If the shoe were available in a wider width, I'd want it in every color. I am giving 4 stars in lieu of 5 because a comfort shoe should have the option of a C width. I will continue my search for a well-made, good leather pump that feels good on my foot. I will never again allow my pinkie toe to curl up and be smashed into that position all day.
