About Creative Recreation
Creative Recreation was launched in the fall of 2002 in order to fill a void in the footwear market. Up until this time, no one was offering footwear to young professionals with style. The three founders set out to innovate the market and were able to incorporate the comfort of an athletic shoe with the materialization of a dress shoe to create the ultimate crossbreed, resulting in the Creative Recreation men’s and Creative Recreation women’s shoe collection.
Creative Recreation sneakers grew from the concept that this generation wasn’t going to follow the same old well-traveled roadmaps of previous times. A new journey beckoned for Creative Recreation shoes: to embrace fashion-freedom with a design approach that blurs the rules.

Love these shoes. I have them in high tops and never purchased the low until now. So when I needed some new shoes for the summer I didn't need to look further and I'm very happy with them. They fit the same way as the highs. You have to buy them a full size bigger. I'm a 9-1/2 and I bought these in a 10-1/2 and they fit great. They aren't the greatest in comfort but if you want that then you should get the Nike Air Max Plus, but if you're looking for something with style, decent comfort for casual and/or dressy wear, then the Cesario lo or high is great for you.
I like these shoes a lot. The one thing to know is that they run small; I'm normally a 13 but for these I bought a 14 and they fit well. Also one of the decorative grommets on the side popped out shortly after I got the shoes but I don't care.
I'm a huge creative rec fan! These are cool shoes, and very different. The back is a little higher then usual. If you know creative rec, you don't buy for the comfort, you buy for the look! The only thing that I dislike about the material used on this style, is they scratch really easy, and you can't get the scratches out. Not a good idea to wear to a club or crowed place, where they will be stepped on! Enjoy!
Overall these shoes are great. Next time I'll get a half size bigger though. They fit a little too small.

I followed the advice of another reviewer and got a half size up...I normally wear 10s. However, these shoes were still tight. Perhaps they were designed for feet with less volume, as it's tight along the top of the toes. I recommend going a full size up.
I would suggest buying at least half a size up for these. I own a pair of size 11 Cesario Lo's, which fit perfectly, and tried a 10.5, which were just too tight. Knowing this, I first purchased a size 11 in this style, but found it much too big and exchanged it for the 10.5. There is still a slight amount of leeway, but going down to a 10 is probably too small.
Great looking shoes. Definitely get a half size larger than normal though. Other than that great shoes. And of course Zappos is the place to get them from with their excellent service and shipping.
By far the best shoes I've ever worn. I get nonstop compliments on my shoes, and heads turn where ever I go. There are Recs. that match any possible outfit, and I strongly recommend these shoes for anyone who wants to make a good first impression.
I ordered these shoes for my son on Monday. On Tuesday afternoon, I chatted with an online customer service rep to change the size after hearing that they run small. The size/color combo I wanted wasn't available, but I picked the closest replacement. On Tuesday, I was notified that my order had shipped. On Wednesday morning, before 8:00 a.m., my order had arrived. I want to know how Zappos does that?! I live in a fairly rural area so this was just so surprising to me. I don't buy shoes anywhere else. My son loves these shoes so everyone's happy. Thanks again, Zappos, you've earned a customer for life.
This is a pretty nice shoe. I've gotten plenty of compliments on them. I just wish they had them in this color for the mid or high top. Oh well, still a great shoe!
These sneakers are great if you want a nice casual shoe to go nice with jeans and shirt anything casual. I have tons of these shoes and they are worth the money. They last and are eye catchers! I must say if you have a wide or big foot, please get a half size up I wear size 10 but always with these shoes I get 10 1/2. I rep these shoes to the fullest! Buy these shoes! Oh, and shipping is amazing! You will get them so fast and free!
Normally wear a 9.5, ordered a 10 and they fit perfect. Love this shoe! Not too mainstream and comfortable as well.
I could not love Zappos more. Super fast shipping and my husband loved the shoes. I'm not shopping for shoes any where else!
I got this as a christmas gift for my boyfriend because he is extremely fond of Creative Recs shoes. I was worried about the fabric and how it would look. But when it arrived, in a timely fashion, I actually liked how it looked. The fabric portion is actually a wool-type fabric and the color looks great. It is not too dark, nor too light. The only thing is do not spill liquids on these shoes. I can only imagine how hard they would have been to clean. Nonetheless, my boyfriend loved them and wears them. I like them because he wears them.
I was completely satisfied with my purchase as well as the ease of placing my order. I would definitely order from Zappos again!
The shoes are amazing. I bought them for my husband and he loved them. I was most amazed with the Zappos service. When they say it gets here quick that is an understatement! I love it!
I really enjoy these shoes. I give them about 3 days to break in and after that they fit perfectly. Nice simple colors and I get a lot of compliments.

Just to start off. I'm not that much of a picky person but I always have a hard time finding the exact item I want. So I have been looking for this pair of sneakers for a while and couldn't find them anywhere. Then I came across Zappos and they were the only place that had the exact ones I wanted. So I called up because I'm one of those people that's just not big with online ordering and the guy (D) that helped me...was mad cool. I got them next day. Which I still can't believe. There was nothing wrong with them and my friends said I did it again. It was a perfect ordeal.
This is an amazingly stylish shoe. They were delivered in less than 24 hours. I would recommend getting then a size bigger! I have 8 pairs of creative recs; I'm hooked. You can dress them up or down and always look great.
