Dansko

The shoe was stylish, and it felt good on my feet. But as soon as I started walking I felt discomfort and actual pain across my toes and especially on the outside of my pinky toes and big toes. The pain was caused be the shoe creasing as I walked and pushing the seams into my toes.

My chiropractor was discussing my knee issues when the conversation switched to her Danskos. 24 hrs, later I wore the Sophies on my short walk to work and by the walk home I knew why she swears by Dansko. Despite my slightly wide foot, the adjustable straps allowed perfect comfort. Bye bye Earth and Merrell.

The shoe was comfortable when trying it on, but the straps are a funny sheen, and the sole is not rubber - it's hard plastic. Would not have had good traction, and clop-clops when walking. Not the Dansko shoe quality I was expecting so I returned.

I am a heavy pronator, and these shoes are comfortable! They make my feet look better. They're bit heavy, that's ok. The only problem I have is they make a bit louder sound when the heel hits hard surface while walking.

I bought the narrow width, which was a good fit for my feet. The first few days these were very uncomfortable - hard, tight, weird-feeling - but since I needed them for my kitchen job, I kept wearing them. Gradually, the tightness over the arch of my feet relaxed, and I found I got used to the way the clogs slip on and off at the back. Now I find them very comfortable. These are not immediately friendly shoes, but all the nurses, kitchen goddesses & servers of the world know a good thing: they will support you through long days on your feet.

I stand on my feet on cement at work and needed a comfortable shoe, but I didn't like this shoe at all; the heel was very loose and much too big, and the front of the shoe was way too small and tight. Not a good choice for ladies with slender feet; if I would have sized up, the shoes wouldn't have stayed on my feet at all; it was already so loose in the heel that it was like a flip-flop when I walked, and not at all comfortable in the tiny toe-box.

I loved these shoes so much that I bought another pair. I found them to have nice arch support and look great, too, with either jeans or nicer pants. My feet are difficult to fit, with one being wider than the other, but these shoes work happily for both.

I have enough black shoes, but no black shoes with green and silver dots! I also didn't have black summer sandals, and I am at the age where comfort trumps beauty -- although with this shoe, I get both. The footbed is soft and very supportive, the straps are adjustable, and my baby bunions on both feet are not hurt. Great shoe -- worth the money.

I love the style but the size 8 was too tight which it is my regular shoe size. I returned them and got a size up and they were great to be on.

I put this off because it was more expensive than usual, for me. But it is great: comfortable, cute and well made. My favorite pair of shoes.

I have these shoes in orange and they are terrific. I hesitated ordering the style as in the photo they just look like lots of white sole and has the white toe. But in the photo you see them at eye level; wearing them you see them looking down at them and they are much more attractive looking than the photo. I am wearing them with khakis. They are very comfortable. I bought size 37; which fit great without socks. I have the Professional in 38 but wear socks with those. I love this new look from Dansko.

As with so many Dansko's these shoes just propel you forward with the rolling bottoms. The strap over the flat part of my foot was very tight when i first tried them on, but now that I have worn them several times, they are very comfortable.

Great shoe, took a few days to break in but now feel better than my custom orthotics.

I'm a fan of Zappos' review system and also a fan of plastic type/utilitarian/funky shoes. I bought these in blue and yellow. I found them not as comfortable as my sloggies, but far more comfortable than the mary jane plastic Crocs I tried last year. At first wear after a full day, I had a small bit of irritation on my pinky toes. By the second wear and onward I have no irritations, they tend to "warm up" and sort of soften to your foot. They're super stylish, very brightly colored, great chunky but not too chunky heel design. Comfortable after a small period of adjustment. I'm an 8 1/2 and ordered a 39. I'm keeping.

I love these shoes! As a veterinary technician, I wanted a comfortable shoe that would keep me on my feet for my 10 hour shifts. These shoes certainly live up to the Dansko reputation established by their leather clog counterparts. At the clinic we have a roughened cement floor which is great for traction, but a beast on my leather Danskos. These canvas shoes fit the bill -- they are lightweight, comfortable and don't break the bank. Two other co-workers have purchased them as well and have plans to add additional colors to their wardrobes. Thanks Dansko!

These are everything I wanted.Shiny patent leather in wide. Very comfortable and I know Danskos last a long time so I'll get my moneys worth.

Run don't walk to the nearest computer, phone or fax and buy these; and not just in blue, but every color Zappos offers. A great work shoe (I am waitress) - casual wear shoe. Wear with slacks, shorts, skorts, or dress. I wear a 9; I bought a few 39's.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are incredibly comfortable, provide great support, and are just the perfect shoes for me. They run true to size for clogs, and the strap helps to adjust the fit. I took one star off for style only because my boyfriend says they look a little goofy but still cute. :)

The breathable canvas is great, but even better is the absorbent insole, no meed to wear socks. I was concerned they would have the standard insole which really does require socks and I was pleasantly surprised.

A perfect shoe. I feel like I'm walking on fluffy clouds all day long! Great arch support, super soft leather, and a sturdy sole. I bought the brown color, and the actual color is identical to the picture shown. A perfect wedge with pants, jeans, and skirts, and cute with our without tights/socks in winter. Fit true to size (got the 37s). No regrets! Super fast shipping (thanks Zappos!).
