Deborah Lippmann Reviews
This is a gorgeous color. It has a soft minty-green metallic base with small silver flecks and larger dark blue flecks. Two coats give it a full, lovely finish. Very girlie for a non-traditional color.
Great deal on this nail polish that I can't find in retail stores where I live. Can't beat free shipping. That keeps me coming back to Zappos for all kinds of products.
For the price, I find it is not worth it. It does not stay on any longer than other nail polish. It chipped within a day. I don't think I will buy again.
I love the Deborah Lippmann products. I have bought in the past many polishes from this line. The polish stays on for a very long time and I've never been disappointed with the products. Very happy with the Steppin' Out.
Best top coat I have ever used. What can I say, I don't like using any other polish other than Deborah Lippman. If I do use another brand, which is rare, I still use her ridge filler and addicted to speed for top coat. The best!
This is a great product! I can't live without it! My nails dry faster and my polish stays longer. I highly recommend this product!
Reviewing Marquee Moon. The silver didn't end up being a flattering shade on my pail skin but I was excited to try the sequin style flecks. They really don't go on that well and on some nails I have a bunch and on others none at all. It was hard to get an even amount on all nails. So I'm disappointed in this particular shade however Lippman polish is my favorite brand and will definitely be purchasing more in the future. I will just try on first at Nordstrom.

This is an awesome set. The glitters are gorgeous, and the formula is flawless. Shipping was fast, and the product was well padded.
I am now obsessed with just about anything by Deborah Lippmann. Her products are nothing short of amazing. This base coat is great because my nails recently starting peeling often and I have always had great, hard, almost perfect nails. This base coat has almost nursed them back to health in the entire time I have been using it (about a month). One thing that I really love about her nail polishes is that the brush applicator reaches all the way to the bottom of the bottle, meaning you don't waste any of her precious polish! I hope others discover soon how wonderful her products are.
Amazing polish! I do my own gelish gel nails. Put on the gel base up to the top coat to finish. Then I polish the DL sprinkles (very silvery with an ever so slight tinge of blue). On the tips to the middle of my nail bed like a french style. The glitter chunks are easy to use because they load on the brush really consistently and go on exactly where you want them to. Once that is good and dry, I put on another gel top coat and under the light I go. This mani lasted 3 weeks through Christmas on the beach in HI. It is worth every penny! I have a feeling this is not a bottle that will go to my polish collection and sit there for 10 years.
Best nail polish remover! Takes off dark reds and other colors effortlessly. Worth the higher price.
I absolutely love Some Enchanted Evening! It looks awesome by itself or over different base colors! I love that the glitter is different, fun sizes to give a kind of optical illusion. It stays on great too! I am ordering Ruby Red Slippers, Bad Romance and Today Was a Fairy Tale!
The best nail polishes I have ever used. This color is ok but not my favorite. I like shape of my heart and like a virgin better. However, putting another color for the second coat is wonderful.
Love Deborah Lippmann polish. The Glitter is beautiful. I have lots of compliments. You can wear it alone or put gold or silver base and then the glitter polish. One hint...you have to kind of dab it on instead of long strokes like regular polish. Very easy to do.
Deborah Lippmann is the best nail polish made. The color "Glamourous Life" is a sumptuously rich rose gold. I also recommend "Turn back Time" base coat and "Addicted to Speed" top coat.
Such a beautiful polish. It really does look like rose gold. All Lippmann polishes have unique colors that I have not found any match to anywhere else. This held up well when I wore it as well.
It's just "OK." I usually like DL polishes. I've tried Across the Universe, Bad Romance, and Some Enchanted Evening, and was very happy with them. For some reason, though, this one falls short of its promises. (I have seen the real Ruby Red Slippers IN PERSON and this looks nothing like them!) I think it mainly has to do with the sheer black base. I put it on top of a ridge filler and it was really streaky, large areas were literally see through. Now, I know this happens with glitter polishes, but this was a lot more than usual. When all was said and done, it was a real let down. The "black" base should be ruby. Plain and simple. It can be a sheer ruby, it can be a dark ruby, but making it black, IMO, was a big mistake. It takes away from the glitter... and what potentially could be a great polish. It's nowhere near that yet. Time to revamp the formula, Deb...
The rainbow glitter, "happy birthday," is like glue. I wore it for a week in Costa Rica with nary a chip. However, this makes it near impossible to get off. Short of soaking your nails in acetone, you will be scraping it off with a dull blade. I did find putting a cotton balls soaked in acetone on my nail, then wrapping it in tin foil, waiting 5 minutes, and then wiping off the polish helped. I don't like exposing my skin to acetone for that long. I ended up giving the polish away. It's super pretty, especially with another metallic color underneath, like Chanel's Peridot, but ultimately wasn't worth the hassle.
This color is very dark, almost black. It was too dark and did not sparkle like it does in the bottle.
This is seriously the best top coat ever. Dries soooo quickly. Makes your nails look like shalac with the thick gel-like texture. I couldn't stop feeling my nails after using this because they felt like satin! Sounds funny but seriously... worth every penny whether you love painting your nails or not! I will never be able to use another top coat again. Deborah Lippman, you're amazing!
This is a fabulous product. I hadn't done my nails for a long time until I was introduced to Addicted to Speed, which was incidentally at Nordstrom. With this product my nails dry super quick. Most often I do them right before bed. Yes, the product is a little strong smelling but I still love the product anyway. And it is worth the price! Get it! You'll love it!
