Dr. Martens 1461 oxfords offers a more relaxed and casual look that still have the same tough leather and durable quality of the boot styles. These Dr. Martens shoes and boots are ready for everything, whether you’re in the thrashing it in the mosh pit, working in the city, or just setting the style standard at school.

The Dr. Martens Work footwear collection features men’s and women’s work boots that have the same rich leather construction but with the standard protection to keep you safe while you’re on the job.  The 2295 Rigger and 2296 Wellington boot styles have water-resistant leather uppers too keep you dry while working outside in the elements. The Ironbridge boot is a heavy-duty style ready for industrial work areas where the environment may not be safe, but your feet will be protected all day long.  All Dr. Martens work boots meet ASTM standards for safety toe protection, electrical hazards, and slip resistance.

Can't believe these exist. I get compliments from keen-eyed sneakerheads and Docs enthusiasts. Surprisingly comfortable- no blisters. The top of the shoe is designed in a way so it's a bit odd-feeling in the place it hits my foot. It's like the shoe was made for a longer foot. However, no discomfort. Well-made to last, as I'd expect from this brand. I'm so happy I'm looking at other Docs sneakers.

Shoes look and feel great. I bought some docs back in the 99, and they are still alive. I dont wear them that much anymore, but Ive never had a pair of shoes last as long. Bought these because I was tired of shoes lasting 1-2 years and decided to go back to docs. Unfortunately, the fabric inside behind the achilles wore out in a year. Otherwise, they are in great condition. I'll continue to wear them, but I would buy a model that has leather in that location from now on. I was looking into these 'leather' options when i decided to write this review. Something to think about as you compare docs for yourselves...

The top around the ankle and over the arch is inflexible. I couldn't even get my foot into the shoe. I ordered a size 1/2 larger than I usually wear and could not get them on.

VERY COMFORTABLE slip on. Looks a little funky as toe box is wide but thats exactly what I was looking for as my foot is a little wider than average but not an "E" or typical "wide". So wanted a casual slip on that was very comfortable and this was it. Tried on several others that missed the mark before finding this one. My persistence paid off. Hope it holds up but looks like it will as construction is top notch. Only oddity with this shoe (and may be true for all Doc Martens) is the lack of production in 1/2 sizes. I typically wear 9 1/2. The size 9 I first tried never stretched out enough to be comfortable...the size 10 was the correct size. Maybe a little roomier than a 9 1/2 but would rather have that than one a half size too small. So my takeaway is that a size 10 is maybe closer to 9 1/2 and size 9 probably closer to 8 1/2.

I love the shoes, but I had to exchange them twice and go down two sizes to find the right fit. They are edgey cute and have more cushion than a traditional canvas shoe.

Insanely uncomfortable. Had to return immediately.

These shoes are great. I bought them to make my girly outfits less girly. The chunky sole is very masculine and clean looking, these shoes are gonna last you forever. I get complements every time I wear them. They run very, VERY, very large. I have a wide foot and normally wear a size 8, I got these in a size 6. Heads up though the break in time is murder on the back of the ankle (wear thick socks). These are a timeless shoe and worth the investment, I'll be back to buy a cherry red Mary Jane.

I normally wear a 9, but in Docs, I'm an 8/UK 6. These fit like a glove, but I could see the edges cutting into skin if the fit were off at all. With time, I think they'd soften up further. The light gray is really beautiful but very pale, so they might start to look worn quickly, especially if you don't wear socks with them. I wish they came in more colorways and textiles.

My husband needed shoes he could wear daily that would last and be comfortable and look good with a suit. He is on his feet all day and loves these.

The material felt very cheap and not true to size.
