About Ektelon
Ektelon, a division of Benetton Sportsystem USA Inc, is based in Bordentown, New Jersey. Ektelon was founded by Franklin W. “Bud” Held in 1964 when he developed an aluminum tennis racquet and racquet stringing machine in his garage in San Diego. Only six years later, Ektelon equipment became such a hit with tournament players that the company had to move into a larger facility in San Diego in order to keep up with consumer demands.
Ektelon products have enjoyed the longest, most successful reign of dominance in the sport of racquetball. Ektelon´s heritage includes the introduction of more revolutionary technologies and programs to the sport of racquetball than any other company. Ektelon shoes and products employ innovations that include oversized racquetball racquets, the Racquet Taper System (RTS), Power Ring® racquets, O3 Engineered racquets, Natural Foot Shape Footwear technology, among others.
Ektelon introduced their Tour Series footwear line in July 2002. As a sponsor of the International Racquetball Tour and the Ladies Professional Racquetball Association, further developing the line of Ektelon shoes was a natural progression. Ektelon shoes are extremely comfortable and provide technical and performance features for the modern racquetball player.

Great shoe! Seems to run true to size. Most shoes only last about 3 months for me, these held up for over 6 months!
These are bulky and very wide for me, and I have a wide foot. The insole peels with vigorous play. I would not recommend these for serious players that want to get around the court quickly.
I'm very happy with the Ektelons so far. Prior to this I've been wearing New Balance tennis shoes. I've always liked NB for the comfort and availability in wide widths, but the soles would wear out fast and start coming apart. The Ektelons seem like they are much more suited for racquetball play and I feel like I'm moving better on the court. I tried ordering a half size bigger than normal, but ended up returning them for a full size bigger.
Excellent court shoe for basketball, racquetball, volleyball, etc. Good arch and ankle support. Second pair I've bought and they last a long time.
My footing on the court greatly improved once I put these shoes on. I partially unlace and re-lace when putting them on to get that foot-glove feel. I use all the lace holes to take advantage of the Mid height of the shoes. Great court grip, and yet allows me to move quickly and light footed. The stiff in-step really helps prevent foot fatigue. I believe these shoes are helping me avoid ankle and knee injuries.
I wear a size 12 in other shoes, but ordered a size 13 and they fit perfect . Very comfortable, made well, and lots of details.
These sneakers are true to size (width and length) without socks but you'll probably need a pair that's one to one and a half sizes larger than your regular shoe size if you want these to fit comfortably with tube socks. My shoe size is 9.5 regular width but I eventually settled for a 10.5 regular width (I should've gotten an 11) before I felt comfortable wearing them with my tube socks.

This shoe has great support and good fit. Very comfortable but very hot. My feet bake when playing. Altogether a great shoe but wish it had more ventilation.
Very nice! Lots of padding, stylish. I got these for my husband, it isn't easy to find a racquetball shoe, and he loves them! They are an investment, but worth it to provide good stability on the court.
I've only worn them a couple of times, but so far I'm really happy with them. My only complaint is that they run small on size. I ordered my usual size and they were too tight, so I exchanged them for a larger size, which are a little too big. I will probably try to wear thicker socks than I usually wear. But I'm very happy with the performance of the shoes.
Sizing - I usually wear a 11.5 shoe. If you like your toes just touching the end of the shoe, then the 11.5 runs true. I think most folks like a little space, and thus I consider this shoe fitting .5 smaller than marked.
Great racquetball shoes. I was expecting a "break-in" period, but put the shoes on for the first game and haven't switched since. Comfortable, great grip on the floor, and relatively lightweight. They seem to be well constructed and holding up well.
Great Racquetball Shoe - Ideal shoe for racquetball. Very comfortable with good traction on the court floor. Excellent arch and ankle support.I highly recommend.
