Emerica Reviews
This is a great looking shoe. My feet are true D width and these felt smaller. If you have wide feet, this is probably not for you. Also, if you need more height in your shoes then it is not for you as well. The tongue on this shoe was compressing my feet as well. It is not a bad shoe just not for people with wide feet. I wear a nine in Supra.
Although I really enjoy the style and fit of these shoes, they are simply far too shoddy to recommend. I have had my pair less than a month and the soles are incredibly worn and that is just from normal walking. My pair arrived without one of the eyelets and the hole is starting to rip the upper. The glue that is used to hold the sole flush has discolored and now looks like gray gunk on the canvas upper. I really wish I would have paid the extra for the Van's Chukka instead.
An excellent, lightweight, low-profile, minimal shoe. I've had two pairs. They breathe easy and you hardly know you're wearing them. Ultra-minimal styling which is just my thing. I started wearing minimal skate shoes as work wear but they go anywhere, really. The first pair wore out after 1.5 years wearing them about 60% of days so I'd say that's a pretty good value. The one flaw is you've got Emerica written on the side, which I find a bit tacky, but not enough so to take away a star. I have the black ones and you can't really see the black on black unless you're looking for it. The natural gum soles on these black ones are also pretty classy.
I really like this shoes, they are very comfortable and the only thing that freak me out when I receive this shoes is that they don't come in a box. The come in a bag. But I like the shoes.
These shoes were terrible! They wore out so fast, after a week I had major ollie holes and in a few more days the toe cap blew out and ripped through completely on the bottom. Not worth the money if your gonna skate them, they'll be done in a week.
These shoes are great! They provide great grip for boarding and a solid look for in the street. I wear these shoes almost all the time.
I am very happy with these shoes. They are comfortable and well made. From the shopping through the delivery my experience has been a positive one.

Comfortable socks; not sure I understand the warning, since I live in Humboldt County, CA where such style and irreverence is expected. Gave a pair to a conservative friend; let's see how daring she is.

So I got the these shoes because I wanted a good looking slip on I could wear to school, and just about everywhere else. When I got this shoe I was a little skeptical because of the material but I ended up really liking them. The shoe is in its 3rd week and is still holding up and when the canvas gets dirty I just throw them in the washer and dryer and there good as new, this shoe took about a day or 2 to break in and I say that because the "tongue" I guess kind of jabs in to your ankle which is a little uncomfortable but it went away. The shoe also has tons of goring allowing it to stay snug. The first thing I noticed about these shoes was the arch support it was surprisingly very good, not great, but it exceeded my expectations. The shoe has dealt with my wear and tear for almost a month. This is very nice shoe. I would recommend this for any wanting a nice slip on.
My 13 year old son loves this brand, since they are "skater." He has them in tan, too. They look great and hold up well!
These are very nice looking shoes. I would say they feel about a half size or little less than marked, not enough to go down half a size but it is somewhat noticeable. They have a completely flat innersole, which while being very comfy provides no real support. As everyday shoes they are very nice, but I don't plan on skateboarding in them. There is no way I could wear these without laces, though, even with the bit of elastic in the tongue to hold them down. They provided no pressure to actually stay on. Luckily I prefer them much better with the laces, and I had planned on using them anyways. If you are looking for a slip-on, though, I would look elsewhere to shoes designed purely as one. While a very nice looking shoe, they lose a few points due to the fact they can't be worn as a slip-on as advertised. I would still recommend these as an everyday kick around pair of shoes, comfortable enough for a quick bike ride or walking, but not for skateboarding due to the support issues (there really is none, even laced up.) Don't buy these to skate or to wear as slip-ons. Buy them if you want a super stylish pair of sneakers.
My son likes these shoes. He had a pair of DCs that he tore up in a day riding his BMX bike, so these are strictly for wearing out and about. They are not for riding at all.
I think Zappos rocks. They have the most helpful and friendly people working for them. I also love that they are helping out the Vegas economy.
These are the best shoes that I have ever had in my life. They are the perfect shoes! They are very comfortable and fit like a glove. They are also sexy.
Best shoes Ive ever had. I've been skating for 10+ years now and have never had such a durable shoe as these. Before I started buying these, I was riding the Herman 2's. Had about 10 pairs of those and 6-7 pairs of these. Love them.
One review says these shoes fit large, so I ordered 7½ instead of the usual 8. 7½ is too small, so I reordering 8. Zappos handled the exchange extremely well.
I absolutely loved these skate shoes. Okay, I'm gonna make this short and helpful. First with the good things: There is a vulcanized midsole with a suede upper and they're lightweight, flexible, and durable. Now with the bad sides: they're unfortunately not an sti fusion shoe and they don't really protect from snakebites. I really hope this review helped you choose the shoe you want.
Great looking shoe but the worst footbed ever created. No arch support and just terribly flat. I wore them straight out the box and they already hurt. If you have high arches, don't buy. Cheap Chinese product.
