Generic Surplus

I've only worn the shoes once, but they look fantastic. The chukka style gives it a boot like look, but the outsole keeps it casual. The cushioned footbed isn't quite as cushioned as I expected, and there is little to no arch support. The shoe is incredibly light, but feels durable with great quality stitching and build. It's still a comfortable shoe, and I expect it will get better as I break them in.

Great looking shoe. I bought these for my 15 year old son to wear on game days at school and for nice social events. They look great and he wears them without complaints or having to be cajoled. There's not much arch support though so I had to buy some inserts as he plays a lot of sports, has a high arch, and his feet need the support.

I have owned these shoes for exactly a month and I already need to replace them. After less than a week of wear, the rubber sole on one of the shoes started to come off (it has since fallen off completely). The heel on the other has separated from the rest of the sole and I am waiting for it to come completely off as well. By the second week the interior pads would come out along with my foot every time I took the shoes off. I have since had to cut off the cloth portion of the padding to keep it from bunching up under my feet when walking. This is all after light to moderate wear, and I do not even wear them every day. I am used to shoes still looking like they are new even after the first couple of weeks. The last time I wore these somebody said they liked them and asked me if I remembered where I got them because it looked like I had had them for years. When I told her I had had them for less than a month, it took some convincing before she believed me. I am willing to give the company the benefit of the doubt, I am sure it is entirely possible I just got a bad pair. But when a pair of expensive shoes starts falling apart after less than a month of normal wear, I cannot rate it higher than one star.

The Ledger Lo is one of the best shoes I have owned..clean, comfortable and the value to quality is great! Generic Surplus is awesome!

Been wanting a great workwear boot and found it with Generic Surplus Duck Boot. I have back issues and this Vibram sole provides great shock absorption when you walk.Money well spent.

Can't beat the comfort and price for the Vibram sole on this boot. I'm getting the Black Duck Boot from these guys for my motorcycle rides.

These are a really comfortable, simple, yet stylish shoe. The fabric makes them classier than your average keds sneaker. They definitely run a little small so I would suggest ordering up a half size.
