I like the size. I'm 5'3" and the brim is large enough to cover without overwhelming me. Living in Florida I need the shade and it protects my hair color too. It's also casual enough to wear with anything.

This is a very well made & comfortable cap, in classic baseball-cap style. That said, it's seriously oversized. I have a 31 1/2 inch head circumference, which is considered extra large by all cap manufacturers. But I read the comments by other buyers, and ordered a large (7 3/8), but on delivery this was still slightly oversized, although improved by the headband inserts that Goorin supplied. I expect (hope) it will shrink slightly on washing, since it's 97% cotton. Prospective buyers should be aware of this issue.

I cannot praise this hat enough! I have had my Private for almost four years now and I am on the verge of purchasing a second. I bought the dark brown version and have dragged it through hell and back. The only thing that has really worn on the hat is its faded color. That is understandable, however, as it has been out in over 110° heat in the Montana badlands. The hat has also been with me on numerous snowboarding trips, and seems to do well in almost any weather. The material is hardy and the construction is excellent. Keep making hats this well-constructed,, and good looking, and I will never buy a hat from another company.

This hat arrived promptly as Zappos always does. Goorin puts together a well made hat. I have bought more of their styles. I definately recomend them to friends.

Very comfortable. Really cool looking. These hats are really popular I've noticed, but this one has a distinct look that I haven't seen on too many dudes.

Great style and have been happy. Bought a medium but had to send back for the small (if you're buying for woman/child, you'll probably have to get a small). It's still a little big (why I gave it a 4 instead of 5) but not willing to send it back!

Perfect - I have a rather large cabeza and often have difficulty finding a hat that fits 'right'. This was comfortable and fit perfectly out of the box. Definitely runs a little on the larger size, but in a very good way. Might buy another in a different color.

This hat is so lightweight and comfortable you forget you have it on. The venting is great. Have had many compliments on this hat. This is my everyday hat now. Received it in two days from Zappos. Good experience all the way around.

A little disappointing. I purchased this model as a small (7) in the store years ago and it was a wonderfully well made hat. Unfortunately, that one landed in a puddle and was run over by a car so I needed a replacement. This is not of the same quality and though it's listed as a size small, it was larger than the one I owned previously. The hat is a similar style, it bears the same item number and title so this must just be how the hats are made now.

Great hat, fits true to 7 3/8. It looks like it's tan w/brown pattern in the pics, but it's actually blue and green pattern. Love it...

I just received the hat. As usual, Zappos does a great job at getting an order to you. I love this hat. It is well made and stylish. Definitely recommend. Will most likely by more Goorin head wear.

I'm 5'2" with small head, smallest size was perfect fit and hat was not overwhelming. Great colors and durability. Already shaped and shipped carefully in additional cardboard hat box. Love this hat!

A well made, good looking hat. Looks exactly as pictured and fits comfortably on my big head. I like the slightly faded/worn look and the side-brim logo gives it a classy touch.

If you are expecting this to be a nice true to size low profile fitted cap, you will be very disappointed as I was. I don't know who Gooring Bros. used as measurements for their caps but its not even close. The small (6 7/8-7) per their specifications is huge and dopey looking. Way too much material that makes the hat sit down over your ears.

This is a great hat; it's my new favorite driver style cap. The hat has a very relaxed fit that is correct to size. It is also a very warm hat without any bulk. It is no winter hat, but not as airy as some hats have gotten. The olive color looks sharp.

Great hat, really warm and stylish. I have a bit of a big head and it fits really well. And as usual Zappos is speedy with delivery!
