This is a great versatile dress for all occasions. I bought this dress for a gala and then wore it two weeks later for Easter. The belt was a bit snug but it helped create an hourglass figure. Also, you need a safety pin or tape so that the top does not open up and reveal too much. I received so many compliments on the dress. It gives you a very Marilyn Monroe look.
This coat fits a little big and is somewhat boxy. I also wish it had one more closure at the top. The picture shows it buttoned all the way up and is accurate to how it basically looks and fits. I am keeping it because it overall is a great price for a soft luxurious coat. I'm 5'9, 140 lbs and got a size 6
This would be a nice enough dress and if it were less. This material is a sheer very delicate cotton like material (think really thin C&C California style), and in no way justifies the price. The fit was also a bit small, I'm usually a 0-2, and got a 2, which fit, but would've probably been more comfortable in a 4.
Wow, super cheap fabric and very thin too. Also made in China synthetic fabric, how can this be priced the way it was? Return.
Perfect dress - This is the perfect dress...the pictures do not do it justice. Trust me when I say that you will feel amazing. Super flattering...and even more comfortable. You can size up or down 1 size as it is a forgiving style and drapes beautifully. First Halston purchase. I did not tie a bow like the picture which gave it a more modern feel (knot). Also found it in a mauve (more lavender) color so purchased that as well...love this dress. Very picky shopper.
