Josef Seibel Reviews
This is not a good shoe. Yes, they are comfortable, but as several others have noted also, the soles crack very easily. I bought 2 pairs, and within 3 months, all soles on both pairs were cracked. I expect a shoe to last quite a bit longer than a few weeks.
Excellent Service. Beautiful shoe. Fit very small so if you have womens size 11 like me there are no options for this shoe.
The best! Most comfy. Attractive. Lightweight. Good female version of the fisherman's shoe. I found it to be perfect in every way.
Not thrilled for the price. My foot is generally a perfect 9. My feet sit weird in these shoes, and fall off the side, and no adjusting the velcro strap helps. They are just not that comfy either, for being ticketed as a "comfort shoe." I should have returned them, but I wore them out.
Excellent arch support, fine construction; color Creme is wonderfully versatile; debating about returning them only because they make my feet moist, which I wouldn't expect with Seibel (I live where summer days are in three digits). Have never had happen with Clarks (any of their 3 lines), Born, Seibel, Sofft. Curious. But bless Zappos' superb return/swap policy. And as always, experience with someone in Zapponia was delightful.
These are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever owned. Good, all day, arch support. Lacing allows me to "loosen up" for my little bit wide foot. Love them.
The shoe is very stylish, I've received many compliments. It has a lot of room in the toe bed, but not a very soft sole. It's a cute shoe, but not one to walk around Disneyland.
Very comfortable shoes and lighter weight than most walking shoes. I wore them all the time I was on a recent tour and my puppies were very happy.
Very comfortable from the start, and wide enough so they don't hurt bunions. I'm not as crazy about the style, but the comfort is worth it.
So cute! Would love to keep it if I could just keep it on my foot when walking. There is no arch support and no way to add some. Too bad but I think it will have to go back. A shame because it would be really comfortable with a little arch support which could have helped the wearer keep it on the foot.
These are fabulous, stylish, and comfortable. I've received many compliments in just the few times that I've worn them. Love these shoes!
Footbed is true to size. However, I could not keep my feet in these shoes even walking slowly in the house. Such a shame for a cute, cute summer style.
The Alexis is a very comfortable shoe. It looks a bit utilitarian, but the comfort makes up for the looks. The leather is super soft, so you are able to have a custom made shoe feel and look. The soles feel like gym shoe bottoms. I am able to walk miles in these shoes. This is my third pair of Josef Seibel shoes, and the second pair of Alexis shoes. I still have the first pair but they look a little tattered because I wear the shoes every day.
These shoes look great. But it takes a while to break in the hard leather ankle and tongue. A little padding would have been nice. The sole is soft and flexible and while walking on a flat, hard surface is fine, walking on a gravel road is uncomfortable. I am still breaking mine in. I know that once the hard leather is softened up and formed to my foot, these will be favorites. They run true to size.
These are very small. I ordered an 11. My daughter who is a 9½ could not even get her feet halfway into these sandals.
I love these! They look beautiful and they are like walking on air. I bought them for work because I'm on my feet most of the time, and they are everything I wanted and more. I don't want to take them off! They're perfect for work, play, running errands and super cute on top of it!
Loved this shoe - the greenish color and the style. It is too short in the toe for me, but the shoe is long enough for my foot. It is too wide, so any bigger would fall off of my foot. They don't come in narrower width. So, back they go.
Finally, they are long enough (there was 12.5), narrow enough (not too narrow just not boats), enough arch, and leather lined for my very excellent hubby. I ordered them one day they were here in about 24 hours. Woo hoo Zappos.
Comfortable, cushioned foot bed, but the straps rubbed my fourth and fifth toes slightly. I have a narrow foot, and even with the velcro adjustment, it wanted to slide forward. I chose the 41 (I'm generally a 9.5 in sandals) and my toes and heels were at the very ends without hanging over. If they were about half the price I would have kept them.
