About Kooba
Kooba's story is about women who search for ways to express their personal style. That's exactly what the team behind Kooba was doing in 1998 when they found themselves shopping in a sea of sameness that was the luxury market.
Armed only with passion, they set about creating a collection of bags for themselves and their friends. Being avid vintage shoppers, the team focused on the things that spoke to them: Attention to detail, original styles and distinctive textures. This allows for the individual -- not the accessory -- to make the statement.
With a full line of satchels, shoulder bags, totes, hobos and more, all crafted with a sense of both function and luxury, there is a personality to each style that definitely speaks to every individual.

This is the perfect bag. it is a little larger that Hailey which is good. Everything fits. The colors are great with the rose gold accent. I love this bag so much that I bought the black and rose. The shoulder strap is very comfortable also.
I purchased this bag in black and I absolutely love it! It's the perfect size for a leisurely weekend and just big enough to bring the essentials (wallet, compact camera, phone, etc). While the style, functionality, and quality are all fabulous, my one gripe would be the closing mechanism on the top of the bag. It's great in terms of aesthetics, but it can be hard to open - I realized that the only way to do this is by lightly tugging the patent leather on the front while pushing down on the top button. This isn't a deal breaker for me, but don't expect this to snap open on its own. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purse - it's beautiful and stylish as either a shoulder bag or a crossbody!
The first thing I noticed about this bag is that it smells terrible, an awful sickening odor. The pocket/flap was very hard to open, and then impossible to re-snap. I returned it.
Love the style of the bag. Roomy and easy to access items from the bag. The Berry can be worn with many colors, but it still gives a punch of color to my wardrobe. I also own the Brown and the Stone. If I could afford them I would own all the colors. It is more versatile than Jonnie. Shoulder drop is great. The Berry color is nicer than the picture.
This is a terrific bag! I love the quality of the leather, and the style is timeless. Carried it to church this morning and had three women come over to ask where I found it. I love the separate front compartment for those things I don't need all the time but I want them in my purse just in case. It is spacious but still looks good if it's not filled up.It will accommodate your iPad or Nook or both with no problem. Love, love this purse!My new go to bag for sure!
Bought this bag to add to my collection of Kooba bags which I love! This was no disappointment. I love the color. It's actually a darker navy than how it looks on-line. It's a great size to carry that extra stuff that comes along with 3 children.
I bought this in the grey color, and it is gorgeous. The leather is soft and beautiful. It holds a lot, but doesn't seem too big. The outside pocket is very handy for keys and/or phone. The magnetic closure is strong, I don't feel like it is going to fall open. The straps are long enough so I can fit them over my shoulder easily, even over a puffy coat, but they don't seem too long. It is the most I've ever spent on a handbag, but it is totally worth it to me. This could be the perfect bag.
Purchased the Kooba Jonnie handbag in gray and it was love at first sight. The side snaps do have a hard time staying together, but I can live with it. Biggest disappointment is I splurged on this bag only to later discover a tag on the inside that read "Made in China." So the overall rating suffered.
Love this bag!! It is just the right size for me. It sits easily on my shoulder. Wonderful leather on this bag, also. I purchased this bag in the lighter color. I would suggest putting a spray coating on this bag to protect the finish.
