Kork-Ease Reviews
I've been looking for a wedge that was flat and not raised high at the heel. I was so excited to order these because they looked like the perfect color (natural) and the height was good for comfort. But I had to return them. There was this odd feeling of feeling like the toe area was higher then the heel. It felt very strange. The color was the color of Band aids..not good. Bummer! The search continues.
Great shoe, so comfortable to wear, love the two-tone color. Have several pairs in different styles and color.
Love these! I'm and 8.5 and usually would size up if there were no half sizes but other reviews convinced me to go with the 8. Good choice. Yes, a little snug on first wearing but the leather has stretched just enough for a good fit. The color is great, the most neutral of neutrals. Well made! Worth the money.
Super cute! Super comfy! I got these in the green and get so many compliments. My only complaint is that these don't come in half sizes. I wear a 6.5M but had to get a 7M, which are slightly big. At this price point, Kork-Ease should offer half sizes!
This is an orange-red not a rose pink. Love this super comfortable clunky-cute shoe. Pretty light weight. I hope the straps hold up they are a little thin with the patent leather. These shoes do not require any breaking-in. I have narrow feet and the M fits perfect. Size down...I'm a 7-1/2 and the 7 is plenty big.
Okay, my third pair of these ever so comfomy shoes are here and they fit perfectly as soon as I put them on. They feel like they were made for my feet. I love Kork-Ease Sandals. They are like wearing slippers, give you great height without the pain and they will give you a few seasons of wear. What more can you ask?
This is the first of 3 pairs of this shoe that I purchased. I found that the front of the shoe was a little snug, but stretched out when I was breaking them in. They are a beautiful shade of blue that looks terrific with any shade of denim. I love the extra height that the heel gives you, while the front platform makes you feel that you are wearing a practically a flat shoe. I wear a size 7.5 and the size 8 fit well. Obviously I love them: I bought 2 more pairs in different colors!
This is the second pair of these that I have bought: the first pair were the Orion Blue. Unlike the Orion Blue these needed no break in whatsoever. They are like walking in slippers and I was a bit letdown when I took them off and lost all that lovely height.
Love these shoes. the take a little bit to get used to (for me), but now I can wear them all day. The wedge is a perfect height.
These sandals are a blast from my past. I had a pair I wore all through high school (the 70's) they were my favorites and it is so great to have another pair after all these years. I ordered my true size and they fit perfectly. These are stiff at first but loosen up and get more comfortable and more beautiful with wear. Thanks Zappos!
I couldn't love these shoes more. I originally purchased the Ava, but the platform seemed too tall. I thought these might look like old lady shoes but they are super comfy and cute with a hip factor to them. The natural color is a little bland at first, but the color started to deeped after a few weeks. Love these sandals!
This is my third pair of Kork-ease I have tried this season. I am right between a 6 1/2 and a 7. The other 2 styles were too small or large. The Deborah fits the best. They are so comfortable and super cute. The quality is superb with the exception of the plastic heal which I also had replaced. The tulip is true to color.
Love these shoes! I had tried three different platform sandals and was about to give up, but today I got these...(awesome service, Zappos) They are a little more edgy than the traditional criss-cross strap model...gorgeous! I was a bit worried after reading reviews about the potential for running small, but I typically wear a nine, and these were perfect, with maybe a smidge to spare. The leather is strong and good quality, but not stiff. I haven't walked much in them, so we'll see about the buckles; the first strap's buckle is right over my little toe, but doesn't seem to press at all. Also, they appear narrow, looking at them, but feel/look perfect on, and I don't like narrow squeeze shoes. My first pair of Kork-Ease and I am very pleased.
These shoes are fantastic. Fits great, looks very good, comfortable height, enough to feel sexy and safe. Wore them the first time with capris got lots of compliments. It will be my go to shoes for summer night outs. As usual Zappos rock with price, value and service.
OK. Here is the truth. The style is awesome. I remember when I was a little girl, I had a pair. I must have been in 6th grade. Today they have better colors and the foot bed is cushioned!!!! The higher heal may not have a cushioned foot bed though. However, they will need a lot of breaking in. I wore them for two hours and a couple of my toes are on the very of blisters. In 2 or 3 days I will wear them again around the house but with socks on. I think that will help the breaking in process. I truly believe that they can eventually be comfortable. The cushioned foot bed is what is making me keep them. Also, I have not been able to find another pair I can wear through Europe on excursions without them looking orthopedic. lol They run a little large. I am a 7 or 7.5 and the 7 fits well. The orange, the color I got, is really retro and cool.
I looked at these a long, long time before ordering them. One concern was the lackof adjustability, and a previous review that stated that they are wide. Well, the sandal underfoot is barely a medium, and is so cushiony and comfortable that I was surprised. My problem came with the straps, which were much too loose on my foot. Because my foot wasn't held back, all the pressure went on the thong between the toes. Also, I found that the candy pink only matched one out of my five pink tops. Sorry, but they did go back. If they fit you properly, they could be winners! That cork sole is awesome.
These are very cute. However, I have had to return 2 pairs because the crossover straps that go across the top of your feet are too thin. Each pair had one shoe where the strap came apart. The straps are held together literally by the just 5 stitches and very thin leather. I do not recommend these shoes for everyday use especially if you do a lot of walking and standing as I do.
I bought these in blue. Very soft blue/gray color. I got them in the mail yesterday and am wearing today. Very comfortable but the foot bed is a little hard. I don't think they would be comfortable for hours of walking but for the office or a trip to the mall they are fine. They are a little wider than I expected. But, all in all, I think they will get lots of wear this summer with skirts, dresses, jeans, shorts.
Comfortable, nice fit. I had ankle surgery a few years back and I can't wear most shoes that are cute and stylish. These offer the support and style I was looking for. I wish the upper leather were softer but I'm sure over time the leather will soften.
I almost hate to admit that my first pair of "heels" was a pair of Kork Ease from the '70s. Needless to say I loved them. These are a bit higher heeled but I still love them. Stable to walk everywhere in, comfortable, and cute. Great with jeans and love the pop of color. I got the orchid which is a interesting mauve pink.
These are very pretty and comfortable, but they will have to go back because the sizing is a bit off for me; size 8 is small, in the size 9 (my usual size) although the length is perfect, the straps over my foot are just too big (I am average width) so my feet kept sliding forward in the shoes until my toes hung off the end. That is just not a pretty look! Zappos rocks! Thanks for the super fast free shipping!
