A great product, works beautifully, evenly toasts and is easy to use. Must do as instructed to get smell out. The small footprint is one reason I purchased this toaster. We love it. I must commend the Zappos service: outstanding! The best service ever from any company.

My wife and I received our Krups 203 grinder as a wedding gift almost 20 years ago. We've used it almost daily since then -- grinding, then turning over and tapping it hard on the counter every morning. That's over 7,000 grinds! It is still going strong and is now the longest lasting electric appliance in our kitchen inventory. I wish more appliances were designed this well.
Terrible quality. Within two months the frother broke and the replacement is backordered until late May at the earliest (3-4 months away), now the pump gave out. Don't waste your money.
I am on my third one! While they work great when they work I have experienced (three times) that some small part breaks making the unit unusable. yesterday the knob shaft portion that changes port openings for the steam versus the hot water flow to the espresso grind cup broke. It is plastic! I use this once a day in most cases and have now gone through three units in about 7 years.
Our previous Krups grinder lasted many years. This one works even better and hopefully will last as long. Delivery was also great.

Nice design but inferior handling comfort. The lid rotates open around its middle axis where it rests on hinges that easily disconnect and cause the lid to drop into the water.Even if opened properly, it is uncomfortable to fill.On the good side: it boils water quite rapidly.
Have used espresso machines since the early eighties. Have had 3 machines that cost each in the nineties. For a number of reasons this cheap machine is better than all of them. Have used various models of this maker and love the fact that you can make two doubles with each cycle. You can't do that with many of the expensive machines. I use it daily and yes it finally wears out after a couple of years. You do need to run vinegar through it every 3 months or so and be sure to keep it clean.
Good machine, quick and easy to use. I haven't read the manual to check if adjustments, but I wish the espresso was a touch hotter.

This is the worst coffee maker I have ever purchased. It has a severe case of over-engineering. Every part of it is too complicated and it can't make a simple cup of coffee. As an example, the water level indicator is a fancy channel of reflective light that is not actually filled with water, it's filled with mirrors that light up depending on how much water is nearby. So you have to stand at a certain angle to see those reflections and know how much water you've poured. Terrible product.

In defense of Krups... I nearly did not buy this coffee maker after reading the negative feedback. Fortunately I opted not to become a sheep and decided to think for myself. I do not recall most of the items listed, but one was that it was impossible to gauge the amount of coffee remaining in the carafe. Hey! As the picture and description implies, it is a metal carafe. Another person was dissatisfied with the sight gauge indicating the water level. Guess I must have superior eyesight, as I failed to find that to be a problem. As for not being able to fill the chamber without dribbling water. I have no comment. And oh yeah, there was even a complaint that the new unit did not come with a gold-tone filter. As far as I can ascertain, several folks opt to use paper filters. I am so happy and proud to have thought for myself, for now I own another superior Krups coffee maker.

This electric kettle is fast! The mechanic in the lid requires careful handling, and as a European, I would appreciate a metric scale on top of ounces and cups, but those are little things. Overall, this kettle is great!

Disappointed. We have had this burr grinder for less than a year and personally I'm disappointed. There are setting for the machine to grind the correct amount of coffee depending on the numbers of cups you are making and ours after about 8 months started grinding way too much coffee. So we now have to grind the coffee and measure it out using the coffee scoop.

We've had ours a year now, and it's been excellent. We used it many times a day. Still boils quickly, shuts off as it should and doesn't add any bad taste to the water. No scaling has built up inside the kettle, which is good. We'd buy it again. Con: A bit heavy, but it's OK.
I bought my first Krups grinder like this one 25 years ago and it still runs perfect. But I can tell this one is not the same. But what the heck. That's life. Everything made in China now, which is not a bad thing...it's just that it lacks the deep sense of quality the German made Krups has. Gets the job done and the price is right. Zappos is the best place to shop in the entire world.

I gave been grinding my beans for decades and this grinder is the best one that I have ever had. It is high quality, durable, and inexpensive.
Excellent quality coffee grinder to replace my awesome Braun which is no longer made in this country. I love the compact size for my counter and it grinds enough coffee at one time for a 12 cup coffee maker.

Lid is secured with tiny plastic hinge. Broke off after 4 months of daily use.

I have had this machine for a couple of months. I was a big Krups fan and would hope that they are listening to the consumer reviews. Every pour dribbles coffee on the counter. The inside water level indicator melted, and now the machine leaks every time I put water in reservoir. I am on the hunt for a new machine and gun shy to buy another Krups.

This toaster does not brown the same every day. I always have English muffins and one day they're brown and the next day they're still white when it pops up. I'm returning it.

This is the worst coffee maker I've ever had! It does make a decent cup of coffee, but (1) it's difficult to get the filter door to latch and when I do manage it, it sometimes pops open mid-drip, making a huge mess. I often put a rubber band around the whole machine to keep the door shut. (2) The indicator tube on the side that is supposed to show you how many cups of water have been added gets bubbles in it which make it hard to get an accurate read. You can always measure the number of cups of water you want before you pour it in, but this indicator can't be relied on to make sure you got it right. (3) It is nearly impossible to pour a cup of coffee from the carafe without some of it dribbling down the outside of the carafe and all over the counter. I'm thinking of replacing this machine even though I've only had it a few months.

Krups is a statement.
