Palladium Reviews
I like these boots because they are light and airy. OK for the spring and summer because they have the air hole right under the arch, keeping your feet cool on hot days. The boot is lined with satin, when wearing with socks it feels like your feet are covered with silk socks,so comfortable on your feet. Perfect boot to wear with babydoll dresses.
Purchased these hi-tops to wear with a "Ritchie" ankle brace 1/2 size bigger than my normal size. I use them for work standing and walking long hours. They are comfortable and still new. The laces need to be taught in order to remain tied or they may undo themselves. I use arch support inserts also. For the money, they have no arch supports. They are serving their purpose.
Very stylish indeed. I bought the vapor/grey color. I usually wear 7~7.5 shoe sizes but for this shoes I ended up ordering 6.5, because the size 7's were really long. They fit very snug at first (well since I ordered a smaller size), then after a week they stretched out so I'm pretty happy with it now.
Okay. Time out. Hang on a sec. How did these boots go under my radar for so long? They got style and comfort, both needed for everyday use. The fold down plaid collar has the right amount of swagger and attitude without being overly pretentious, at least my lady thinks so. The fit, well for me they fit like someone built them around my foot, in other words, comfortable. One minor complaint, the support is not there but a pair of insoles (Superfeet Green) will do the trick. All in all very pleased and I'm getting the Stonewashed Dark Khaki as well. These boots, blue jeans, and a grey or white thermal and I'm ready for my weekend excursions into the city. Oh and did I mention, they are very durable too. Stop reading and get a pair (and some Superfeet if you need the arch support).
This shoe is cute, but it was slightly too big for me. When the order arrived, I could see that it was a European size. Most size conversion charts say that my 8.5 American size is the same as a 40, but for whatever reason, 39 is always a better fit for me. I'm guessing that's why this particular shoe was too big for me.
I'd been eyeballing this brand for awhile, having seem them floating around on the interwebz, but had never actually seen any of Palladium's shoes in person. Zappos compelled me to take a chance on these (translation: a sale), and I haven't regretted it for a moment. Despite being your standard 'boot' in the sense that there isn't a ton of sole support, these shoes are horrifically comfortable, and the quality is aces. I've worn them to work, and on an accidental walking adventure across my city -- they were fantastic the whole way through. My only complaint (and I hesitate to call it that) is that they seem to run a little long; not necessarily large, per se. I ordered an 8.5 and found that my toes only just barely extended past the rubber toe-cap on. I considered returning them to try a size down, but the width is perfectly fine, and they're otherwise so great that I'm just going to stick with an 8.5 making my feet look a bit longer than they actually are.
Good looking boots. After replacing the insole, these are much more comfortable. If you are planning on wearing socks these are snug, with no socks they are on the snug side of the correct size. I have not had them long enough to know how much they will stretch. Very lightweight. I am happy with these boots.
I recently bought these boots and I couldn't be any happier. It was within my price range and it came just like it stated Brand New! Plus it came earlier than expected I'm planning to order some more very soon
I LOVE this shoe. I have bunions and semi-flat duck feet. NO bunion pain. But what I love as a mature woman who still likes to look good is that these shoes are fun without making me look like I want to be 12 years old again. They are the first shoes I reach for whenever I have to do just about anything; run to the store, run the dog, run to meet my friends for lunch. They're cute and super comfortable. My 80-year-old mom, who passed on to me her shoe addiction, likes them too! I put in an insole for added comfort, and it fits in there just fine.
Love 'em! I am no fan of change and have worn Caterpillars for years but thought I would try something different for going out. I dig these either up or folded over and they fit well. Good stuff!
Love the style of these boots. You can wear them up, or folded over. One thing to note is that the color gunmetal is really more of an army green than black or slate color.
Great boot, but one problem. I normally wear a size 12 in Timberland, Sperry, and Nike. I got an 11.5 for these, and they are huge. Fortunately I have a buddy who wears a 13 that they fit great on. I know there's a great return policy here but I wore the boots so I can't send them back. Beware the big toebox, the soft stretchy leather, and the thick foam insert that will compact once worn when considering sizing. Other than that, I'm getting another pair that fits me because these boots are phenomenal.

I was so excited to see these. They are exactly the style I was looking for, and the color too. Too good to be true! When I got them, the fit was lousy. No support, too big, and that front rubber thing on the toe looks really stupid when you look down at it. The leather is really stiff. The front edge of the tongue poked straight into my ankle. The shoe should have some shape to it. Your foot sort of just wallows around in it, and you can't snug it down with the laces because the leather's too stiff. Poor design. Too bad. Very disappointed.
I am a woman with big feet. I am also a woman with plantar fasciitis, and rely on orthotics. I run around at my demanding job and I have been known to slip and fall fairly regularly. Often I buy men's boots to resolve all my foot issues and let me say these Palladium Pampas are fabulous! They offer great support, traction, comfort and look so great. They are well made and the bio on them explains why that is so. I'll be purchasing another pair soon in a different color. I usually wear a ww 11 in womens and my Palladiums are 10 1/2 mens.
These are awesome and super comfortable! They are casual yet stylish. They offer a rugged look for city wear.
Very comfortable and stylish. Not the greatest arch support, so it may be worthwhile to buy gel insoles to replace the earlier ones.Very little break in time, comfortable and attractive.
Quality construction: good canvas, sturdy laces, good rubber to shoe bond, tough wearing sole. Perfect fit to start with. I like to wear a bit of heavier sock than a dress sock with these. I wear black athletic socks. The sole lasts a long time. I wear these with jeans. They are a grown up step above a Converse Chuck high top but feel like it when you wear them. My last worn out pair is now my yard work boot. They are perfect for casual wear, night out and even light hiking. They are awesome for cool/cold weather beach hiking too. I need another pair to hike in because I don't want to get my causal pair dirty. The first color I got was a little too intense for me (my wife!). I can wear them all day. Cant say enough. Love 'em. One thing, the lug sole is a deep waffle, they can chew up the yard when I run around playing with my toddlers. It lasts too.
Picked these up this past winter. They are just simply canvas so not the warmest out there but with a thick sock they are fine. My feet never got wet. The first time I put them on the arch portion of the insole felt funny but wore in after only a full day or so of wear. They are well crafted and light, great for all year round wear. I do not wear them folded over, just doesn't really fit my style. I own a few sports cars so bulky boots are nearly impossible to drive in but these work fine, actually give you decent pedal feel for a boot. I wear a 10.5 in some shoes, but 11 in Pumas because they run smaller and these would be right there with the Puma fitment, a tad on the small side so the 11s fit just right, snug, but not uncomfortable. Wear them all day long with no issues!
No break in time. Very comfortable and light weighted. Good for warm weather. Stylish. I will definitely buy one more in another color next time.
I purchased these to replace an old pair of Palladium Pampa Oxfords that I have had for over 20 years. I hung on to them in spite of the fact that they are a size too small. I love these shoes. The new pair are about ¼" narrower, but have a better food pad with arch support. I think I like the wider look of my old pair, but I do appreciate the new foot pad. These are great shoes! I cannot wait to take them with me on my next outdoor adventure
