Pikolinos Reviews
I love me Jerez. I bough one pair in brandy leather, then I decided on another pair in the same color and a third pair in the red. I am hoping to purchase more in various colors because they are the epitome of comfort!
These are an olive green, not brown as expected. But I am keeping them because they fit very nicely. I have a very wide foot and was pleasantly surprised on how comfortable these were.
I wanted to love them, but they ran large. Then when I ordered a smaller size, there is a ridge below the toes that felt strange. These sandals aer gorgeous but uncomfortable and have no support. Sadly, they are going back. I went with a Josef Seibel sandal instead that feels heavenly.
This said 13" in circumference which is why I ordered these boots. I have thin calves. And I just measured it. It is 15" for sure. Too big. So sad. I really wanted these to work. I had my mom send them to me in Australia and now I will have to post them back or carry them with me at Christmas.

This shoe runs wide, good for someone with very wide feet. Unfortunately I am narrow. But they are super cute & seems they would be comfy if they fit!
I love these boots! My calves are on the athletic side, and these fit comfortably. They are not too tight, and have room for thick socks and leggings. The only reason I rated these lower on comfort is because after wearing them for many walks, the back zipper did start to slump and dig into the back of my heel/leg. That is not a deal breaker for me, I still wear them and love them. I cannot wait until winter so I can pull them out of the closet! I think they will still be in style!
These shoes are very comfortable. One corner of the insole cover does not stick to the shoe and has flipped up, so it feels odd on my first full day of wear. Love the look and have received many compliments.
I love these shoes, love the beading. I think they are very well made and fit true to size. I really have a hard time with finding a shoe sandal that fits without my big toe hanging over the edge. They have just enough heel to give me a little lift. They are comfortable although I have not worn them all day yet. I am hoping the back will not rub after having them on all day. will see. They are pricey and I usually wouldn't pay that much for a pair of shoes. But they are unique.
I absolutely love Pikolinos, and am thrilled that Zappos carries this shoe. I purchased them from Nordstroms and small specialty shoe shops in the past, but found them lacking in variety. The Tabarca is Pikolino comfortable and stylish. I can wear them all day long walking through airports, etc. without complaint. This is very important to me as a person with RA. However, I did find this particular shoe a little short in length. I returned them for the next size. They fit very well. I have lost count of how many compliments I've gotten when wearing them. I recommend Pikolinos and Zappos on a daily basis to family, friends, and co-workers. As long as Zappos carries this brand -- I will continue to purchase them.
Comfortable and stylish with a true width as well. Arch support could be slightly better, but that's personal preference. Overall a very good shoe and am quite satisfied with purchase.
Unusual and striking looking sandal with verysoft leather. The leatherstrip between the toes issomewhat stiff, but willsoften with use. I lovethese comfortable shoes. I bought both colors.
This is a great sandal for summer. I forst ordered a 39 (my usual size in Pikolinos), but it was a tad too smal and tight in the front. I then ordered a 40, fearing that it would be too big. They fot really wellm however, and I'm happy with the purchase
Oh, these are beautiful boots. Supersoft leather, fine craftsmanship (made in Spain, not China!), and they don't gap too much at my skinny calves. Unfortunately, they are too small. I wear a woman's 11 or 11 1/2 and ordered the 42. It felt like a woman's 10--nowhere near an 11. I really wish these came in a bigger size. Great value for the price. Cheaper than Frye, which don't fit me either. They are fully lined, even down to the toes, which I think I missed in the description. So they wouldn't be a good warm weather boot. Sigh. Ariat has a roomier interpretation of size 11, but nothing as beautiful as this.
I had high hopes for a non-suede boot in brown to wear with skirts during the summer. However, although the calf description on these says 13" circumference - these are not 13". Maybe a 13" diameter? They are probably more than 15", so back they go (in size 39). I am 115 lbs, average height, so need a skinny circumference.
I wondered if this show might look a little frumpy. But when I received it and tried it on I absolutely love it! The waffle pattern is different and actually very smart looking on. I wear it with pants but it could go with skirts. I got the light brown, tortue color. I managed to squeeze one of my thinner, smaller orthotics in it, but even wore it once without with not too much trouble and I have really high arches. I think it is because this shoe really hugs the foot. I like the fact that it breathes, with all the holes in it. A nice feature for spring and summer. I have worn this shoe already quite a few times and it feels comfortable even after several hours on. You couldn't go for long walks in it, but for work or casual wear for a few hours it is fine. The laces don't bother me but they did come undone a couple of times, you just need to tighten the bow tightly. I recommend this shoe.
I just received this shoe in the medium brown. It is a very rich color and good leather like you would see on an expensive handbag. The inner sole is made of leather too. But what was a lovely surprise is the cushioned footbed like you would get on a Naot or Mephisto. It really gives support and cushioning to the heel and other parts of the foot. I was also pleased that I can fit a three-quarter length orthotoc I bought online at Zappos which I trimmed the heel part off and it fits so nicely in the shoe you cannot see it except for a little part on the inside arch. But it is not very noticeable. I am very happy with this purchase and know that because it works with my homemade adjusted orthotic that I can wear these in comfort all summer long!
I bought these shoes a month ago and wore them occasionally. After this short time, the toe stitching unraveled. I didn't order open-toe shoes! I'm sending them back. Save your money!!!
Super comfortable. I've been looking for a pair of black flats that are also stylish for a long time, that also attractively fit my wide feet. These are keepers.
Love these! So very comfortable, and look great with cropped jeans and flowy hippie-chick print tops. They fit true to size, and make my large feet look smaller.
