Poetic Licence

Love this shoe and get tons of compliments on them every time I wear them. Only small negative is that they come untied fairly easily - especially when wearing pants and the tie is rubbing against a hem of a pant. If wearing with skirt or crops, not an issue.

These are not shoes - they are pieces of art! I bought a purple pair. They look more beautiful in person. Every detail and strip of leather sparkles. I kept on saying "please fit me, please fit me" and luckily they did. They are also more comfortable than they look.

This shoe gets 5 stars on cute!I love this brand of shoes. If you are looking for style that is different from the the norm, this is the brand you want! You probably wouldn't want to wear these all day shopping, but they are comfortable otherwise.

Beautiful shoes. Very sexy on. I really wanted the red pair but none in my size so I got these instead. I was going to return them as they don't go with my dress but I love them so much I don't see me parting with them. I might just have to buy a dress to match these. I gave the comfort a 3 because I've worn more comfy sky-high shoes but they're not bad. They don't rub or scratch. I have a wider foot (not chubby just wide) so they're tight but not uncomfortably so.

I love these sandals with the colorful flowers so I ordered both the black and natural colors, but these were a little too big on me. I reordered them a half size smaller and they fit much better. After walking around tile while trying them on, I thought they were a bit slippery. I do a lot of walking in the hospital which is all tile, so I feel insecure about possibly slipping. I think I would have to limit using these on concrete or a rougher surface. They are made of fiber (raffia?) so they may not have much stretch like leather sandals. The arch support is good since it gives me the height without sacrificing my feet. I'm still undecided about keeping them since they are a bit pricey for something I may not get to use much. They are super cute though.

Cute, cute, cute shoes but alas, they'll be going back. They pinch right on top of the foot, and the heels slip. I ordered a half-size smaller than normal because other Poetic Licence shoes I've tried do seem to be a big large, but these still slip.

In love with these shoes! Weather's not quite nice enough to wear them out everywhere but I've worn them around the house and they make my legs look really long and lean and even though the wedge/platform is ridiculously big, it doesn't actually look or feel that way because there's so many colors. Definitely going to be a mainstay and bff for my summer.

These are awesome shoes. They fit true to size, look good, and are comfortable, too. Even the box is a keeper.

These are very cute. I have an off white and mushroom color sleeveless sheath dress that is challenging to find shoes to go with. I worried these might look matronly due to the lower heel but the rhinestone ball gives it some funk. Very unique and feminine.

Love these shoes! They are comfortable and very cute. There are so many colors in the fabric that they can go with lots of different outfits. Not your average shoe!

I wore these shoes to work and received so many compliments about them. I've even had people ask me when I will wear them again! They look fabulous and they are comfortable enough. I would not wear them if I knew that I would be on my feet all day, but for an average work day (when I usually stand for 1 to 2 hours and then sit for 1 to 2 hours) they are absolutely fine.

Oh, how I love you, Girl About Town shoes. You are now my #1 girls. These shoes are so freakin' cute! I have worn them once and so far they are comfortable and definite attention grabbers. In the two hours I wore them, I received 5 compliments. They run true to size. The heel is actually 4 inches at the tallest point (back of the heel)...a little high for me but so worth it. Amazingly they go with a lot of pieces in my wardrobe. I am so glad I ordered them when they showed up on the website because they are now sold out in my size. I cannot express how highly I recommend these shoes...there are no words. I want them in all colors. Buy them! You will be so glad you did.

Summer can't get here soon enough to wear these pretty platforms, I love them. They are not to heavy and they seem to be comfortable. I have not walk far in them yet being as its winter. I bought my usual 8.5 poetic license size and it fit great.

I agree with previous reviewers: these are incredibly cute shoes, but they run huge. I am usually a 7.5 or an 8 -- ordered the 7.5, due to another pair of PL shoes in 8 running a bit big. This pair, at 7.5, was even bigger than my first, size 8 pair! Thank goodness for Zappos' great return policy and easy procedure. Too bad these are out of stock, or I would have tried a 7. Will wait for another style.

These shoes are super super cute, love them. However, they gave me a blister on my ankle and I had to buy a half size smaller due to the heel being large on my size and slipping. To the point of not being able to walk. But the 8½ work and I love them!

These shoes are cute, but they have a horrible smell and they squeak loudly when walking.

These shoes were so lovely and well finished that, even though I chose another pair for the event for which I was shopping, I kept these anyway. They may be the most comfortable heels I've ever worn, perhaps because of the spacious toe box. I have a narrow foot and these shoes felt roomy without feeling too large. I usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2 (39 European). I bought these in 39 and they felt like an 8 1/2 American.

Cute but runs big at the heel so my foot kept slipping out. I also have a fat ankle due to a surgery and this rubbed on the side of my ankle because the side is very high. Had to go back.
