My son wears Keen since a toddler. I was looking for a sandal that will not slip on wet ground surface and this is the only one that will keep him steady and safe.

Perfect for summer. I bought two pairs. One for my 3 year old and one pair for my 5 year old. The 3 year old can put them on by himself. They wear them everywhere!

If there's a better shoe for an active 3-year-old, I haven't found it. Love the rubberized toe coverings. These are our second pair of Keens because they're indestructible.

Great, tough shoes. I bought these for my active 3 year old. I love the toe protection. My son likes doing everything himself, so the Velcro is also an added bonus!

Love these! These are great for my 6 year old son. He has pronated wide feet and can not usually wear sandals. But these are very supportive. In fact he has always pulled his shoes off after a couple of hours of wearing. His teacher is amazed that he has not even tried to take these off. I love them so much I just ordered the Keen Venice H2 for him. I think these would be accommodating for all types of foot issues even typical feet. Yes, it does have a wider footbed but the toggle laces can be made tighter for narrow feet. The color is great and can go with black, brown, gray, green, yellow and more. I don't know what I would do without Zappos. I am a busy mom who lives in a rural area. I would have to drive over an hour each way to the nearest city and go to many different shoe stores to find shoes that we like. Can't beat the free shipping and free returns. The shipping is always lightning fast.

My 4 year old loves these shoes. Easy to get on and off by himself and rugged for an active child. Although, they do get a little stinky.

Great shoes. Very few kid brands allow for a high instep. These fit well and are supportive and protective.

Review Text: This is my sons 4th pair of Keens. They are the best I can find and not so cheap but they really do hold up for hikes, everyday wear, water play, they're the best. And I've always been able to give them to a friend after, so really they have 2 lifetimes. Oh! and you can put them in washing machine! Great shoes!

Another year, another successful purchase of Keen Newports! These sandals are fantastic for my very active boys. They wear them all summer long and I'm always able to pass them down from older to younger. Without a doubt, worth the investment.

I bought these shoes for my 3 1/2 year old twin boys and we all love them! These are our 5th and 6th pairs. We bought our first pair when they could just walk and they never wear out, we just replace them when they outgrow them. They are perfect for very active little feet - they keep them both cool and protected. Totally worth the price.

Awesome! My son is 2 and this is his 3rd pair of Newports! They last forever and go anywhere, rocks, dirt, grass, water, what more could you ask!? These shoes fit my son great and are very easy for him to run and play in even though they are a little big right now but that is the way I bought them. I have had several pairs of these myself and I live in them almost year round. Very comfy. Plus the free shipping is awesome and we were upgraded to overnight for no charge! Zappos is awesome in every way!

These are awesome summertime shoes for young boys. They\'re easy for kids to put on themselves; they don\'t mind getting wet; they protect little feet on scooters and bicycles; and they look great.

I bought these for my three year old who has flat feet. They seem to have a little arch support and he\'s been wearing them all the time. They\'re perfect for a boy on the go!

I bought these shoes for both of my boys (ages 7 and 9). They are comfortable, durable and waterproof. Perfect shoes for summer.

I loved them in sizes 6 and 7 but I didn't realize that starting from size 8 these shoes have different kind of strap - hook-and-loop strap. You can't see it from the picture. The hook-and-loop strap does not open the shoe up completely which make it hard to put on. Velcro strap is short. Very disappointed.

Just what summer ordered! My boys live in these shoes come summer. Wet, dry, or dirty, these shoes never disappoint. Comfortable enough to wear with or without socks and easy to clean. The small velcro tab (at the top ankle) holds and secures nicely and the push/pull zip tie (not sure what the actual name is because they are not laces) make the shoe nice and tight (no room for falling off - which is great). My boys really love that these glow in the dark and to be honest so do I. These shoes go from pool to beach to mud puddles and of course to birthday party's. Never had a more lasting, lovable shoe. Thank you Zappos for having such an awesome selection for us to choose from.

My son loves his "blue shoes." He's pretty much worn them every day since they arrived. They're super comfy and never rubbed a blister. I highly recommend!

Wonderful sandal! My son has been wearing his Keen Newports every day since they were delivered. He thinks they are so comfortable and fit his wide feet so well since the sizing can be changed with the elastic on top. Will be perfect for camp and the pool since they can get wet and I love that his toes are covered for protection.

Every summer I order new Keen Newports for both my kids. I love, love, love these shoes. Sturdy, wash well, and stand up to my very, very active little toddler boy. The only complaint I've had is that they can be a little narrow for chubby feet.

These shoes are great! Have been buying them for my boys since my first born could walk. Nice rugged sandal that protects the toes and keeps feet cool.

I absolutely love these shoes! We bought these for our son who has wide feet. We had to buy half a size bigger than his size in wide shoes to get his feet in, but once on he has plenty of room. I love that he cannot take the sandals off by himself (at least not yet). He has started taking his shoes off everytime we get in the car and I was frustrated having to put his socks and shoes on every time we needed out to get out of the car. They are also great for his love of jumping in puddles.
