I've worn Chacos for years, but had to talk my 17yr old son into it. He loves them. He where's them all the time! The blue is a great color too.

These chacos are great. they are the perfect balance of style and comfort. they go well with everything you wear and they are very durable. I went camping and I went to the beach and they were great for that. also you can adjust the straps so they are literally the perfect fit. this was a very ideal purchase and I recommend this product if you are outside a lot, like to look good, and want a durable pair of sandals.

Nice. I tried the Z1 Unaweep a long time ago and didn't care for those much, but I really like these. Good arch support (almost as comfortable as my Birkenstocks, but with better cushioning) and pretty easy to adjust straps.
I'd also recommend:
Ecco, Saucony

For sandals, these are comfortable, after one week of breaking in. Not quite as comfortable as the Keen Newport sandals. However Keen Sandal are entirely different category of sandal in my mind, because not near as breathable as these open Chacos. Less breathing equates to more funk. The Chacos are easy to get on and off compared to the Keen Newports as well. There again, different category and design all together.

Went ahead with the Z1 instead just because it felt sturdier. These were a lighter weight which I debated about, and also felt really good. Basically flipped a coin between the two.

Great shoe, but they run big. Normally wears a size 15, but needed a 14.

Pros: I like these better than classic Chaco styles due to the lighter weight. Cons: The heel support/bed is overly curved/concave side-to-side beneath the heel. For me this means that as I walk, with each step the shoes force my foot-leg alignment either inward or outward (pronation, supination). This shoe would be much more comfortable and better for your health if the footbed and heel were more flattened out and neutral side-to-side.

A little improvement in comfort, a little lighter than other Chaco but still feels hard on the foot. I preferred the Teva.

This fit great compared to Teva's with my medium feet that get wider at the top due to bunions. I was not able to wear the model with a toe loop, due to my bunions, and returned those. I don't find the soles very cushy or comfortable. They seem like they will probably last longer because they aren't that foamy, but the pattern engraved in them is rough and makes my feet hurt a bit. Also, while sports sandals are in, these are way clunkier than Teva's and definitely give that middle aged vibe. Which I am, but I'm trying to be a little more stylish! Let's just say I wear these on practical days, but not out to the club. I assume they will last me a long time.
