I have been searching a long time for cute, comfortable, supportive shoes and the search is finally over! I have high arches and tend to have leg pain when I walk. Not in these. So comfortable right out of the box! I did listen to Zappos and reviews and ordered a 1/2 size up from what I normally wear so ordered a 9.5w instead of 9w and they fit perfectly. Would love if the laces were like an inch longer, but for the amount of comfort and support I can deal with the laces.

The canvas is a little stiff the first time I wore them but nothing crazy. very comfortable and a good neutral color.

This shoes are comfortable. Good arch support. I purchased half a size bigger as suggested and they fit comfortably.

I ordered a half size up based on other reviews. My toes have a little room, but I wouldn't want to go smaller. The style is super cute. They are thin on the bottom, but that is part of the look. The arch helps compensate for it. I chose the beige color to wear with khaki pants. They match great.

I am writing an addendum to a previous review of this shoe after having worn them for a week. I love them! At first it felt like the shoe under my toes was too thin, but I don't notice that at all. Very comfortable. The arch is still unbelievably supportive. I don't have to wear my own orthotics. I thought that they would be a little too long, as I usually wear a 5.5 and I bought a 6 because they didn't have any 5.5. After wearing them for a week, it doesnt feel at all like they are too long. They broke in nicely. It has been impossible for me to find such cute fashionable sneakers that are this comfortable. In fact, I just bought a second, identical pair in case they disappear when I need them in the future! Hey, Taos, I could really use some closed toe sandals...

I loved these shoes straight out of the box. Absolutely no breaking in period. I bought them after reading good reviews when searching for sneakers to wear on a walking-intensive vacation. I wore them for two weeks straight while walking nonstop, and they were divine. Super supportive, very comfortable, and they looked cute.

These are super comfortable! They were just slightly tight in the toe box and hit my ankle bone when I first tried them on, but after an hour around the house, they felt great! I wore them all the next day and very comfortable. Really great arch support! Super cute shoes too. Love these!

Ordered these for my bff for Christmas and she loves them. She said they were the most comfortable sneakers she has ever owned.

I wanted to love these. The arch support is amazing; however, they ran too wide for my narrow feet and sadly I will have to return them.

Well-made witchy great style just as you would expect from Taos. The arches are so contoured that it didn’t quite fit my foot shape. I switched them out the insert of my Vionics loafer insert and voilà.. a perfect fit. My hint is: if the insert is not quite right for you, just switch it out for one that is and you’ll be good to go. Great shoes!

These were comfortable right out of the box but I had to return as they hit in a very sore place on the side of my toe. I have difficulty with any shoe that rubs this spot. The fit, however, was just as expected.

I love these shoes so much this was my second pair. Fantastic arch support and great for walking long distances. I normally wear a size 9 but got these is a 10. Almost as comfy as running shoes but easier to dress up a bit.

These shoes are great! I love them. Please listen to others and order them a size or half size larger. It's a must!!! They absolutely run small, no doubt. If you know that ahead of time, you'll end up with shoes that fit perfectly. I wear a women's 8 sometimes, usually an 8.5. I bought these in a 9 and they're very slightly snug. I got a wide width--if you sometimes wear a wide, definitely get these in wide! Otherwise the medium will be too narrow. They are comfy and cute!

I love this shoe. The arch support is superior and yet it doesn't look orthopedic. They pay particular attention to color and the contrasting stitching is nice. The sizing is smaller than usual. I wear a 10 normally but the Taos shoes don't fit unless I dial it up to 11. One thing I appreciate is that the Taos arch is in a good spot. I'm finding that some styles I used to wear comfortably now have the arch too close to the heel. A shoe saleswoman told me that this is a cost cutting measure having to do with adjusting the footprint when upsizing to the larger sizes.

I am a size 9 and needed a 10 in these. I found the width to be good (I'm medium). Really nice construction and materials. There is break-in time but it's minimal imo. I have 58 year old feet without serious issues and these are quite comfortable. Love the styling and the color (blue washed canvas) is just as pictured. Looks just like denim to me. They seem durable but I haven't had them long. Overall I'm happy with them.

My favorite shoe ever! (And I’m 59!) They are very supportive and stable even though they are fabric. They also have rubber on the bottom for excellent grip and more stability. I am getting very frustrated with OTHER shoe companies using only extremely lightweight soles that make me slip as soon as I step off the carpet! At my age I especially need to stay on my feet!

After reading others reviews on sizing up I took that advice and went with a 9 instead of usual 8.5. Good thing as the 9 fit perfectly. These shoes are amazing. I'm a massage therapist and yoga teacher and have yet to find a great shoe that does not crunch the foot bones and has good arch support. But these are it! And very cute, replacing my converse with these. Took a few 1-2 mile walks in these and they were great from the start, no pain, blisters or issues to report. Will be sticking with the Taos brand for sure.

As a woman with a size 12 foot (yes, TWELVE) it is difficult to find shoes that are comfortable AND cute. But these fit the bill! I was squeezing my foot into a size 11 just so I could have cute sneakers, and paid the price with sore feet. Not anymore, friends! When I put these sneakers on, it felt like my feet were getting a HUG! I am a new Taos fan!!

Zappos suggested that I buy a half size bigger (I'm typically a 9.5 and I bought a 10) and they were correct. I have VERY flat feet (I only have arches if I'm not touching the ground, otherwise it's all the way fallen) so usually with athleisure/casual shoes, I just take the bottoms out immediately after buying and put in an (expensive) insert and they live in the shoe. I don't think I'm going to even need to do that because the arch support is ah-MAH-zing. I'm used to inserts with no give whatsoever, so these are firm but a little bit cushy, so I'm very much feeling the cushy right now. That being said...socks are definitely necessary because I could see how the heels could rub. I'm writing this review after only one day of wearing them. I was a little hesitant about the $80 price, and I'm glad I went for them, but I think these are $60 shoes. Or maybe I have not kept up with inflation...

Ordered my usual athletic shoe size of 11 and they fit just fine...that's 1/2 size larger than my regular shoe size. I could use more supportive arch. Added a Dr School arch support they are fine. The removeable insole thickens at the heel elevating the heel 1/2", so adding arch support takes some trial & error to find the right combination. I like the styling for summer casuals without the heavy sole of athletic shoes. Wore comfortably all day on hardwood floors. No break-in required.
