Ruffwear Reviews
This dog bed is awesome! I've tried a lot of portable beds, (aka just regular beds). I have a million scattered at the office in the car at another office, and I could never find one that was as portable as this one! If I had found this ages ago I wouldn't have a million beds scattered all over the place. It's light, it packs up in a jiffy (size of a small roll up blanket) and easy to clean. The bottom is super durable and waterproof and it cleans easy with a good shake to the wind. For the price it's totally worth it! Thanks for selling this brand!
I like the attachment loop on this collar better than any other I've seen. It's very sturdy and easy to get a leash clip on. Honestly, after using it, I don't think I'd buy a collar from any other company. The separate id holder is very nice and the rubber tag that reduces the click of the id tag with the city tag works great. It adjusts easily. She hasn't been wearing it very long, but it seems like it will last a long time.
I've only had the leash for a few months but we've been pretty brutal on it. It's been drug around, stepped on, shut in the car door and beat against the side of the car, etc. and it has held up really well. The light green does show dirt pretty easily, if you are concerned about the pooch looking clean and tidy. The lower grab-loop is a cool a idea but I find it mostly stays flat shut and can be a little tricky to get a hand in on the fly. My dog is a pretty good healer, so this hasn't caused a problem for us, but I could see it being a little problematic if you are counting on being able to do it quickly. The waist-option is quick to get into or out of. Also, the clip is probably the best leash clip I've used.
I ordered this because I go on lots of hikes with my dog and wanted to find an easier way to get to his water (without drinking from my Camelbak hose which he normally ended up licking) and also tire him out a little because he has so much energy. This harness has so many features over any other options like mesh backing to keep them cool, easy fitting (adjust once, and all you need to do is snap two buckles), extra pockets for treats, etc. Its also super durable. My dog went romping around in river water, and the pack allowed his hair to dry after I put it back on him! The orange color was great so I could spot him in almost any setting. Also, the Zappos phone customer service is fantastic and we even talked about our new rescue dogs together!
This is my second Ruffwear Knot-a-Just Collar and I love them, and more importantly, my dog loves them. There super light weight, sturdy and don't get cought in his long mane! He's a Husky/Malamute hybrid. Great for dogs with long hair for sure! The only thing is that do stretch out after a while and get worn down, but that will happen with any collar.
Great collar at great price. Solidly built and comfortable on my lab mix. The little plastic item that stops tags from making noise is great. Feels like it should last a long time.
Great pack! Medium size was a sturdy and functional fit on a 70lb female American bulldog. Maiden voyage was a 15 miler in the rain, start to finish on Maryland at this March. Bailey carried 2 liters and snacks no problems.
Love these! We have four dogs and they all wear these jackets. Our youngest is a bit of a wild thing and he managed to go into some thick brush on a steep hillside and pulled his jacket off where we couldn't retrieve it. So we bought this one to replace it. It's even better than the old ones we have. Fits terrific, and the new straps are protected by a flap, so they're less likely to get hung up in brush. Best dog coat ever! Ruffwear is the only brand of backpack or jacket I'll buy. They're the best of the best.
Be aware that the Polar Trex boots are sized wider than the Ruff Wear Grip Trex and Skyliner boots, at least in size large. The Polar Trex size large is 1½" wider than the Grip Trex size large, so I am going to reorder and try a size small, on the assumption that it, too, will be oversized. Otherwise, I like the improved ankle straps and the boots' higher length. My German Shepherds have worn out several sets of the Skyliners during desert hiking. They do not like the Grip Trex as it is too short and awkward for their paws. I hope we can get them sized correctly for the Polar Trex boots as we are moving to Norway.

Our dog was tearing up her feet on rocks during walks. Found these after destroying some other brands. Very durable and our dog is so cute prancing around. Easy to take on and off and easy to clean. Only problem, one of the hind boots gets turned around and she runs on the mesh part which can rip it up. Be careful that you measure for the right size and secure the boot tightly. Definitely serves the purpose and our dog seems to enjoy them.
Once again we're really enjoying a quality Ruff Wear product. We hike a lot with our dog and this light waterproof - it really doesn't leak - is ideal to throw in the back pack for use on the trail.
My dog (a Rotweiler) loves this toy. It is ner new favorite. Also, it has a slight mint scent which is nice.
We use this for serious hiking with a hyper German Shepherd as well as attaching him to a truck bed "doggy seat belt". I have never tried the leg straps on him - not really needed for us. Works great most of the time but does have a tendency to spin on his body if I don't get the straps really tight. The leg straps might stop the spin if used. Best product I've found if you are trying to secure your dog!
Awesome toy! My dogs loved the first one I got them so much that I purchased another. Completely indestructible. One of my dogs has been able to destroy almost every other toy I've gotten her but not this one!
This is an excellent product. It is manufactured very well from quality materials and will perform as the manufacturer claims. Fitting a harness to an animal's body is much more difficult than a human. Be careful if your animal fits an in-between size. The medium would not fit my German Shepherd and I had to go to the next larger size, even though the manufacturer's measurements said it would fit. Not because the harness itself was not as the manufacturer claimed, but because my dog has a very muscular chest and was not typical as to the sizing chart. The securing straps for the front were too short to give me the confidence of the fit when doubled back. My intended use for this product was to enable my dog to accompany me on climbing trips where the safety of a rated harness was required. Overall, I was more than pleased with the quality of the harness and will be confidant in it when it is used. My recommendation is to go to the next size when your animal falls near the limits of the manufacturer's sizing chart. This is a great harness and worth every penny of your hard earned dollars. I've climbed for 35+ years and from experience, this is the best pet product for a safety harness manufactured to date.
These boots are excellent and have helped my dog's pads heal as well as ease her joint pain (from arthritis) when she walks. Lots of other dog people we run into are interested in getting these for their pets. We purchased our first set a year ago locally. This time the local distributor did not have any and I was thrilled to see Zappos carry them!
Overall this is a good buy, it seems durable, and a good material. My two year old miniature schnauzer still does not love it, but then again he does not like anything on him. He is about 15 pounds and the XSS fits him just about right. Walks have improved somewhat, he still pulls at times but it is a good workout. He used to go jogging and come home and be as hyper as when he left but now he has calmed down a lot, maybe the additional weight on his walks. Or my baby is just getting older!

This is a great product! Zappos provided super fast and free two way shipping and the best warranty on the web. Our Shell jacket was small. We advised Zappos and they sent another one before we even shipped the first one out. The correspondence was immediate. We will use Zappos where we can before going to another vendor.
This is great! I use it walking and running with our 50 pound German Shepherd. Quality constructed and easy to use.
