About Ryka
Since 1987, rykä has been designing and developing athletic footwear for women. Founded by Sheri Poe, rykä remains the only performance athletic footwear in the world dedicated exclusively to women. Because rykä is a company by women for women, our shoes fit you better with a narrower heel, wider forefoot and plenty of support and cushioning. I am on my feet all day at work on concrete floors. Have plantar fasciitis and inserts. These are so far the most comfortable shoe. Not a cure of course. But gets me through the day without so much pain. My shoe size is 7 but with inserts I have to wear 8 1/2.
I am very happy with the fit, weight and comfort of these shoes. Now I'm going to order a pair for my elderly mother.
Love Zappos! Ordered these at 8am Wednesday and they were on my porch by 2pm Thursday! Great shoe, like the mid-top. Ordered 1/2 size larger based on reviews here, and glad I did.
This is a very comfortable shoe. 2nd pair I've had, I can put on and wear for miles right out of the box.
Love this shoe. I have flat feet and a narrow heel and am hard to fit, but this shoe is a perfect fit. I had to get 1 size larger than my street shoe size.
5 Stars all the way for this Zumba Instructor! Amazing comfort. I have tried so many types of shoes, & finally don't have to look any further. Easy to dance, pivot, & jump to routines, & my feet feel amazing after an hours worth of vigorous Zumba. Highly recommend! I will be ordering another pair!
Very comfortable but not enough support for aerobics! Reminded me of an aquatic shoe and fit like a glove on my foot. Very lightweight. Wish they worked out because they really did feel great!
I absolutely love these shoes and couldn't find them anywhere but Zappos! They are so secure, and no worries about slipping around while doing Jazzercise! I just wish they didn't have the patent leather trim. Even Ryka wasn't carrying them and they were new out last year!
I love these shoes! I attend a jazzercize class daily and the support these shoes give me is amazing. They are very comfortable with great cushion support in the arch area. I never felt like I had new shoes on or that I needed to break them in. I highly recommend these shoes for aerobic activity.
My daughter is a nurse and spends her entire work day on her feet. I bought these shoes upon learning she is five weeks pregnant. She told me they are the most comfortable tennis shoes she has ever worn. Therefore, I bought my wife, also an RN, a pair. She loves them also.
I love these shoes. Best buy yet. I use to buy Ryka's all the time then started have a hard time finding them in size 12. The heel has a that spring that pushes you forward. Love!
Love these shoes. I am a 60 year old who just started zumba classes and have found these shoes to be lightweight and flexible. I have a wide foot and these shoes are as comfy as a pair of socks. They give me great pivoting capability. Definitely recommend for Zumba!
I love the fit of these shoes. No break in period and instantly felt good. I use for multiple purposes; Zumba, the gym, walking and just because.
I've never had cross-training shoes, just running shoes. But I needed shoes for Zumba classes, and these seem to work just fine for that. They are a little less structured than running shoes.
I wear these to teach Zumba 4 days a week on short, tight carpet or concrete. This is my second pair of these shoes. My first pair lasted about 6 months. The first pair really helped get rid of some knee pain. The circular pivot point and the minimal tread on the sole eases the resistance other shoes have while pivoting and being up on the balls of my feet. It provides enough traction for slick concrete but not too much for carpet. There is plenty of support for the impact moves and great support for lateral moves. My foot does not slide around side to side, so no worries there. I have recommended these shoes to several class members who have ordered them and say the shoes have made a difference for their knees and freedom of movement. Of course, they are super cute and look great with workout clothes and jeans too!
Best shoes for working on concrete floors all day. Zappos never fails to be accurate and prompt. I can always rely on them to get me what I need quickly and at fair prices. Zappos Rocks!
This has been a great shoe for step aerobics. I have had a hard time finding shoes lately that are supportive both in my feet and ankles. This shoe has been able to remove all the pain I had been feeling.
Love, love, love these shoes and for the price they can't be beat. I use to be an avid runner but after 7 operations on my knees I now mostly power walk. These shoes are comfortable, supportive and well made. I will most likely by another pair!
