Stride Rite

These have been such great shoes for our 18 month old for the last couple of months I am ready to buy the exact same style in the next size up. They are easy to get on and fit him well. They also stay dry out in our wet grass and do not get loads of grass stuck in the sole like all his other pairs. A big bonus when you live on 10 acres!

These shoes are awesome! They are so cute as well as comfortable. My 2 year old daughter loved them from the first time she put them on her feet. They are so well made. They do not have a "break in period" like a lot of other shoes where they wear blisters on your child's little feet. They are perfect from the start. I highly recommend these shoes!

I got these in wide for my little guy. I had to return them for the extra wide. Not sure if his feet are super wide or if this shoe just runs a little narrow. I like them because they can be worn with our without socks (I live in the NW so we can get away with socks and sandals). They are very cute and versatile. Looks good with khakis, jeans, sweat pants, etc. They did get a bit muddy after some back yard play, but they cleaned up easily and look like new. They handle getting wet very well, dry quickly. My only complaint is under the velcro on the top strap the sides leave indents in his foot. I can't imagine that is very comfortable, but it didn't leave any permanent marks or rubbing and he doesn't seem to mind.

Stride Rite is our go-to for quality children's shoes. They offer a good selection of wide shoes, and, unlike what some of the other reviews state, we've never had a problem with the W width being too narrow. My son loves these shoes (what kids wouldn't love light-up shoes!).

These are our go to summer sandals. They match everything, are super comfy and easy to put on. Have owned 5 pair and never had any defect in workmanship.

Perfect shoes for tiny tot to learn how to walk! My daughter loved these shoes. Helped her master walking. Definitely recommend these!

I bought these shoes for my 16 month old. He had been wearing a pair of Stride Rite early walkers. These are perfect follow up shoes. Very flexible, and my son doesn't seem to mind them one bit. Like I always expect from Stride Rite, they've held up well. Highly recommend!

Simply the best toddler sandal! Third summer my daughter has had Stride Rite Summer sandals and they're proving to be just as durable and comfortable as always. They seem to run a bit wide, which works well for my older daughter but my younger daughter's feet would swim in this sandal. If you tend to need a wider shoe for your little one (even without a W designation), this sandal's for you.

Very shoddy quality - my advice is to lift the insole and check the stitching that joins the sole and the sides of the shoe. In one shoe it was already coming apart when my order arrived. Of course they went back right away.Also don't have much arch support.

Grandson loves them. They are not holding up very well. Been buying him Stride Rite since birth and this is first pair that is wearing out after only 3 weeks and he doesn't wear them daily.

Cute, well made sandal. My daughter wears these a lot and they've held up well and don't rub her feet anywhere. They're not hard to put on, but she can't easily take them on and off which is nice.

My girl has warm and wide foot. Not all of pretty shoes have wide selection. I was a little concerned that my girl can't wear it too long, because she can't even wear socks for more than half hour. But she loves it very much, we always take off her shoes when she gets in the car, because we don't want her to play with them. She was unhappy every time we took off these shoes after getting in the car. She can wear them with socks and walk around for a long time. I believe they are very comfortable for her, and good with many different kind of clothes.

Great shoes! My 2 year old loves these. The lights are bright and fun, but not overwhelming, they do not turn on with lighter steps, which I think is a good thing. They are sturdy and comfortable, too.

Slippers were cute and OK fit when first received. Now after only a few months the slippers have completely stretched out & the elastic band across the top has lost its elasticity and the slippers do not stay on. Very disappointed as expected better from Stride Rite.

Great shoe that's as cute as can be! I couldn't resist this shoe due to the lights and design. My daughter fell in love with them immediately. I thought it would be perfect for summer to wear with or without socks and yet give the support a 2 year old needs. It's perfect. And my daughter can put them on my herself which makes her so proud.

I ordered this and the nearest equivalent of the Salt Water (Hoy) sandals shoe for my 4 year old to try on. My son liked the Stride Rite sandal better, but I think in part because the Hoy ran quite large. This shoe does seem a bit stiff---we've bought several pairs of SR anglers and they've all seemed a tad more pliable. My main concern is that he/I can't get it quite tight enough with the velcro strap. There is a preset width allowance on the narrow side---and I wish I could make it more narrow on his ankle. Having said that, my son likes them and they are even cuter than in the photo!

These are the only closed toe sandals that I could find for my daughter in her size. She is in preschool and open toed shoes are not allowed so to find something cute, in her size, that were closed toe was a challenge. These are great and have held up well thus far.

My daughter loves these little cuties. She has wide feet, but they fit her anyway. They are so pretty and she gets tons of compliments.

These shoes are great. The theme of the design is from Iron Man, a classic Marvel comic book hero. The shoes are constructed of quality materials and fit very well. So far, the light is working quite nicely. It lights from the top of each shoe from a patch symbolizing the power source in Iron Man's chest. Very cool. My four year old loves them!
