I am a flight attendant, and use my bag on all my international trips, it is amazing, and light to pull, especially on carpet surface. Now I know where the secret is...on the wheels. I love it - will never buy another bag.

This is an awesome bag. It is made by the best bicycle courier bag company in the business. They make bags to last. Usually they are single strap bags. This one is a little different than their usual stuff as it has back pack straps. But I love it. It is compact, but with loads of space. It even fits in the pannier on my bicycle. There are loads of sections and pockets. It has zippers on the side designed for easy access to the large and small compartments so you do not have to open the main flap. However, if you are security conscious, you can zip them up and tuck in the zippers so no access is available. That combined with the click flap, and the Velcro on the inside make this bag completely secure. An important feature as I am living in Europe where pick pockets are rampant. It looks cool too. And, hey, it is a Timbuk2. The best bag in the business.

Great bag, I've been looking for a bag that would carry all my needs and after 6 or so bags I have found it. I travel 2 -3 times a month and need room to carry laptop, iPad, files and headphones. Comfortable to carry and easy to access. Love the new water bottle pocket. I would recommend to any traveler.

I'm a huge Timbuk2 fan, but unfortunately this bag did not fit the bill. The main compartment does not have any additional pockets or storage separation, so I returned it.

I have only traveled once with this bag but really like it. I like that the velcro things have tape you can put on them so they aren't used. I carry a 15 inch Macbook in it, it is tight but a perfect fit (I didn't want anything too big). Happy to spend the big bucks on this one.

Zappos rocks! They consistently meet and on occasion exceed my expectations in quality and speed of delivery.

I love this backpack! It was exactly what I was looking for. Something with a low profile, enough room to hold a large laptop and surprisingly a lot more room than what I needed. I agree with some of the other reviews that the inside pockets could be wider. My hand barely fits. The only negative that I would have is that the durable fabric used seems to collect my dog's hairs and doesn't want to let go! Nothing that a brush can't take care of.

Got this for my husband to replace an old leather wallet that was falling apart. He really likes this one and it keeps CCs more secure but that means they are not quite as easy to see or remove (I took one star off for this). The wallet is fairly streamlined and it seems very durable and the black with gray stripe is attractive. Overall he really likes this wallet.

I ordered from another site but I have to say I adore this messenger! the extra small looks too small when you first get it out of the box but once you start filling it up you see how much it can hold! perfect for everyday and lighter school loads. I take this from work to school and use it as my everyday bag. Feels very secure on the back and the strap is not that bad, kinda bulky but I assume with time it will be more flexible. Very sturdy material and the clips seem stiff but stuff like that gets easier with time, that said these bags are built to last! Also some people complain about the velcro and the noise, get over it! It's not like people don't know what the sound is, I work in a hospital and no patient is getting bothered by me opening and closing the bag. I have the dark khaki/violet color and it's a very pretty neutral to go with anything. Saw it, got it, love it, now go buy it. :)

I bought this bag because I wanted to carry around my DSLR in the same bag as my normal purse-type items and not advertise that I had expensive camera equipment. I bought the all-black one so that it would not look as casual. I am 5'1, so the extra small looks like the right size on me (when I look at myself in the mirror), but this bag is definitely roomy enough to hold everything! I have a Canon 7D with a 24-105 lens and an external Canon Speedlite 420 flash. I plan to add a Camaroo padded insert for my camera and lens, and then I'll be all set to go for day trips, vacations or just around town!

Awesome bag! My spinning shoes fit, 2 small towels (16.0" x 30.0") for when I am done doing a spinning class, bottled water, small wallet and my cell phone. I wasn't sure if this bag was going to be able to have all of these things fit but it did/does. Simply perfect! A must buy!

I bought the small version of the bag for my Macbook Air. It is a great little bag. Light, small, but still big enough to hold any necessary accessories on a trip. The only caveat is that the 13 inch Macbook Air is a bit of a tight fit in the sleeve, but it will fit. A regular 13 inch Macbook Oro doesn't quite make it.

Love my new bag that I bought for myself for my birthday to replace a shoulder bag that I had had for 10 years from Lands End. Great size and very manageable.

I really like this bag! The main reason I bought this bag was to transport my Dell M6500 laptop and other stuff for work. The laptop fits inside snugly and the bag is well constructed. I would recommend this product to those looking for a bag for their 17.3" laptop.

Got this bag in the Mahogany color, very well constructed bag, perfect for all of your hard drives and gear. The only problem is that it does not fit my 15 inch Macbook pro, which the ad claims will fit most 15 inch laptops. Has a nice compartment though for an iPad/ipad 2 and a smaller than 15 inch laptop.

I bought this as a gift, figuring it would be a good product since I have shopped and owned other Timbuk2 products. But I must say this wallet is awesome. The person it was purchased for was so stoked at how cool it is, and immediately emptied his old one to begin using it. I even had a couple of the guests inquire as to where I had found it and how much it cost (they were very surprised at how reasonably priced it was). The only drawback that has come to my attention is that the chain (being a bike style chain) sometimes gets kinked up, but is easily straightened out.

The bag is perfect for my daily needs. I carry food and water easily, along with my other daily needs. I also like the comfort of carrying the bag across my shoulders with the weight distributed evenly in the back. I recommend this bag highly!

This bag does it all. Loads of pockets and places to stash everything I need. The iPad fits perfectly in the padded pocket and slides with no struggle. Easy access compartments for quick way to retrieve what you need. Just the right size and comfortable.

I'm so disappointed! The size and fit were what I wanted in a messenger bag, but the outside of the bag is a glossy black vinyl, not the ballistic nylon as advertised. The look is cheap and reminiscent of '70s era plastic raincoats. I am returning the bag.

I love this bag. I just got back from San Diego where I used this bag for a conference and a day of sightseeing. And I am not sure if my backpack will make it back to work with me now that I have discovered the Timbuk2. Now let's start at the beginning. One thing that attracted me to the bag was the ad video showing that there was a cord that pulled across the waist to hold bag snugly on one's backside. That is a very UN-pursely feature that I was much looking forward to. I do not know about the larger bags, but I was extremely disappointed when I could not find this feature on extra small delivered to me. I thought it seemed much too like a purse and seriously considered returning it. I did not like the feel of it. Round two. I got the bag too close to my trip to spend time complaining, so I decided to make due for the weekend and complain later. Once loaded, even lightly, the pack felt better. More importantly, I discovered that while it lacked the across the waist strap, the single shoulder strap comes with a cinch system that allows you to tighten the back to your body. Once tightened, flip it around on your back and it rides with a back pack feel to it. That is very comfortable, secure, out of the way, and nothing like a purse. In retrospect, I decided that the strap I wanted would have been overkill on this extra small bag (and my threshold for overkill is not easily crossed). I love the way the bag feels riding on my back, and I love the way that I can easily rotate it around to my front side. If riding a bus, subway, tube, or in other crowded surroundings, just rotate the bag around to your front side and use it as an arm rest. In fact, the strap below the cinch easily functions as a make shift sling/arm rest. As for the removable shoulder pad, I removed it as I did not care with packing it along. I cannot comment on it, but I am liking the bag without it. I was glad to hear that others found the Velcro noisy in a conference setting. I solved that problem by sticking duct tape strips over the part of the Velcro system designed to catch the fuzzy part. No noise, and the latches held securely without the Velcro able to attach. I wish that I would have kept the tape on after the conference. When up early in the morning, messing with the bag tends to wake others in the room. I will be looking for something that looks nicer and can be easily attached or pulled up, depending on the circumstances. As for size; the dimensions given did not sound big enough. But I was easily able to fit my 11" Acer netbook and my large Kindle DX with heavy leather cover from Oberon into the bag. Mind you, the Kindle must be squeezed and shoved into the back partitioned pocket if the big Kindle cover is left on. IF the Kindle DX is removed from the cover, it easily fits into the large partitioned back pocket. I have ignored the partitioned pocket, and carried my Kindle DX and light Gortex jacket (just shell) in the bag. I can fit a few other things in the bag as well. It is roomier than it looks. Next big stop for this bag will be on my upcoming trip to Germany. Together with my travel vest, I should be well situated for touring. I hope that helps answer a few questions that troubled me when making the purchase. I am an enthusiastic convert to the Timbuk2.
