Viking

I will not recommend this blender to anyone! It broke after a few uses. Not a high quality product for the price. Very disappointed. In addition, the 800 number for Viking does not do anything. No one answered the call. Do not buy this blender. Good looking useless blender.

My husband bought me the Viking 5Qt stand mixer for Christmas as I do a lot of baking. I can not begin to tell you how Wonderful this mixer is! I have used it just about every day for making breads to pie doughs, cookies etc. And with Zappos' next day shipping it was even better. I did not have to wait until Christmas. I used it Christmas Day to whip my sweet potatoes and do my pie crust. I love it! The red is a beautiful color! My husband thinks it is an awesome power tool for the kitchen!

This thing is awesome! It blends smoothly and very quickly. You can tell the motor is powerful. It works on more than liquids too. I have made blended soups, guacamole (with the blender attachment) and the smoothest mashed potatoes. It takes less than a minute to blend each (30 seconds for soup) and I have had no issues with lumps at all. The only minor drawback is that it is loud, but that is to be expected with a powerful motor. It is still quieter than my traditional standing blender. It is also easier to clean than I expected. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the Viking hand blender. I am not one to spend money on non essentials, but this one has proved its worth.

This is very good in both function and form though some may find it a bit too big. It is bigger than any 4 slot toaster I've ever seen. It works very well, has wide slots for thick sliced bread or bagels etc. It looks and feels of really good quality, and it matches the rest of our appliances, especially the Viking range. This is the stainless steel with chrome and black accents.

I like everything about this powerful hand mixer, including the price and color (red). This is the first small size mixer I have had in years. This little lightweight machine is super powerful! I am now able to put my Kitchen Aid away (free up counter space). I highly recommend this item.

Holy cow... these pots are the best in the business. Viking continuously impresses with both style and durability. These are top notch high quality cookware items. They're comfortable, easy to use, and wash easily. Don't put in the dishwasher... hand wash these bad boys. You'll be glad you did.

I'm very pleased that I stumbled upon this product and decided to go for it. It is a quality product and worth the money. If you enjoy baking and love to search for the perfect recipe... if you think about every last detail and take pride in your creations...you really should buy this! Why not make mixing a breeze? Treat yourself!

This unit gets an A+ for power. It even breezed through my bagel dough. I like a low hydration bagel dough which is extraordinarily tough and the Viking was not phased by it. My KA Pro600 always smells and feels hot after a session with bagel dough. The tilt top latches in place with a hook over bar mechanism. Very sturdy, but does not provide for a close tolerance when hooked in place. There is a bit of play which allows for a gap between the beater or dough hook and bottom of the bowl. Frankly that is a bit annoying to find some dry unmixed ingredients at the bottom of the bowl. You can involve all the ingredients by exerting some downward pressure on the tilt head but design could be improved here. The dough hook is pretty average for this size mixer. It does not do a great job of pushing the dough down during mixing, dough tends to ball up and stay on the hook. A few scrape downs during kneading takes care of this. In fairness, good dough hook functionality tends to start at 6 qt capacity and above so not really apples to apples comparison to my KA. I like the turn knob for on/off/power adjustment settings better than the slide bar on KA. Overall design is fine and I am glad to have it. Knowing what I do now I would buy it again.

Have been looking for a new hand mixer but have not been happy with any that I had found. They either were not powerful enough or too loud. I am very pleased with this mixer. It is powerful without being too noisy. The beaters are more substantial than most as well.

For last three years,thrown away three hand mixers because of poor quality, burned-out motor, and flimsy attachments. The Viking VHMD is a great quality hand mixer, powerful and well-made (although not U.S.A).

This is the best mixer ever, even beats my stand up mixer. It is lightweight and does the best job. I am a frequent baker but have used it for whipped potatoes and whipped cream and it was great. Could not be more pleased with a kitchen appliance.

I use my mixer quite a bit - almost once a day. My old Cuisinart just did not have the power to keep up with the jobs I used it for. This Viking seems to be powerful and I love the 9 settings. So far, a thumbs up!

I am enjoying the Viking VHB300 Hand Blender. The only thing I am disappointed with is that it is very difficult to detach the parts from the main (motor) section.

Little pricier and heavier than other hand mixers, but powerful and worth it. I would recommend it. Love the retractable cord!

This is the best kitchen gift I've given myself. Making my favorite banana, strawberry, blueberry smoothie use to be a pain in the neck with my standard blender. So much to clean and lug out of storage. Now, I zip everything into the beaker that comes with it and in a flash I'm done and everything is washed and put away in one of my kitchen drawers. I also use it to semi-puree my Weight Watcher's Garden Vegetable Soup. Perfect! It was more expensive than others I tried but worth every penny and with Zappos' great delivery I was using it within the day.

Bought this mixer over Christmas, right after my KA melted a gear. I don't use it a lot but when I have used it, it's had plenty of power. Hasn't really let me down. However, I do wish it would do a better job getting to the bottom of the mixing bowl. As far as the overall design, it's a quarter of an inch from the bottom of the bowl from being just about perfect.

Zappos had the best price online. Also no sales tax and I received this item the next day. I love Zappos and am glad that they have expanded beyond shoes!

I personally have not used this pan but according to the comments I am a genius. I told them that if they heat and salt the pan the boil it they will have a non-stick pan without all the harmful chemicals. It arrived on time and am thinking of buying one for myself. Thank you.

I purchased this somewhere else a year ago. After 3 days I called and returned. It looks so nice. The red was gorgeous. It seemed sleek and stylish. If only it ran as great as it looked. It was like meeting the hot guy with the great abs on the beach - all is great until he starts to speak and you realize no abs can cover up for a complete dolt! The slow start-up was fine but the noise was incredible. We do not have a quiet house and this was really loud even to us. Not worth the money - didn't mix that great.

Heavy duty, looks great out on the counter next to my Viking stove. Not a fast toasting toaster but toasts well. Make sure to check toaster settings prior to toasting as the dials move easily. I would buy again.
