My daughter loves these shoes. I would buy another in a heartbeat. Zappos has a great price. Awesome quality and also very cute. Love them!

I bought these boots in September for my 5 year old. He loved them. 6 months later they are falling apart. He keeps them at preschool and only wears them occasionally when it's wet. Both boots have split down the sides and his feet have been getting soaked. He isn't rough on any of his shoes so I don't understand why these have fallen apart. I can't believe I paid $30 for them. I won't be buying this brand again.

Cute, and they work for us! I would say they run a little on the big side...My daughter measures at a 7 1/2 so I got the size 8, which I had to exchange for a size 7 because the 8 literally fell off of her foot. They seem to be well made and the pattern/color is definitely cuter than I was able to find in any store. For a rain boot, they work.

I made a good purchase. The boot is beautiful, however, they are about 1 size too large. I'm also pleased with Zappos. I always have a great experience shopping at Zappos.

We love these boots. My daughter would sleep in them if I let her. They are true to size.

We bought these for our 2 year old grandson and he loves them. They fit well and are stable with a flat and wide sole and heel. Our grandson never wants to take them off, he wears them indoors and out, morning to night, because he loves the Thomas Train design.

These boots wear well, and are easy for my son to put on due to the handles. The only drawback I can see is that the face used to be molded, but is now only painted on, which rubs off pretty quickly (which is why I marked them down in the style category, they look cheaper now). Western Chief is charging more for them now than they were a year ago with a molded face.

These boots were a terrible disappointment! My daughter received them as a birthday gift in mid-March 2012 and they are both (in mid-April, only one month later!) already worn right through the heel! We have mud boots from Land's End and LL Bean that are years old and have been passed down to our younger daughter. Now that is quality. These are very poor quality boots!

My 7 year old grandson picked these boots out himself and, when they arrived, we were all delighted to see how true to the picture they are.Size is great and the pull on handles a boon. We have one happy kid just waiting for it to rain so he can splash in some puddles!

My little guy loves to run around outside. He can quickly and easily slip these boots on and take off into a puddle. I love it because I don't have shoes to try to dry out. they are also nice when he tries to help me garden because they can just get rinsed off with a hose afterward. Also great in the morning dew...once again no wet shoes and his feet stay dry. Great boots for an active little one.

My 6 year old loves these! Great for the rain and puddles! Easy to pull on and take off. His feet run wide but this fit with no problem. I will continue to buy these.

Fashionable! My 2 year old really wanted a pair of rain boots after she noticed that her favorite cartoon character wore them. I used my Zappos VIP membership and they arrived promptly. These rain boots look exactly like the picture and have really vibrant colors. I found a new brand I love for a great price. They are easy for my toddler to slip on and take off. These rain boots seem like they are comfortable and are roomy.

My daughter has been using these boots for months and loves them, that's why we keep buying them. She has size 5, 6, and 7 (for when she needs them). They are durable and true to size.
High quality, good fit and very cute! The plastic was more malleable than most plastic raincoats. This one is lined throughout. My grandson put it on the minute it came and didn't want to take it off - despite his sweaty head indoors!

Bought these for my 2.5 year old son who is obsessed with being a firefighter. Bought them initially in a 6 which is what he wears and they fit great- run true to size. Once I realized this is the ONLY shoe he will wear I went ahead and ordered the 7 to have ready. Boots are nice quality and have held up to daily wear. My fireman pulls them on and off himself, carries them around, and the handles are still hanging on strong. Soles are sturdy and don't slip on wet surfaces and they are flexible enough for my son to bend down and run in them. The only weird thing I've noticed is the size 6's grey stripes aren't reflective but the 7's are. Not sure if it was a defect, or only the larger sizes are reflective. Either way, my son was in love with them as soon as he saw them.

Purchased these boots for my turning 5-year-old's birthday last June. This was his second pair of Western Chief boots (first pair were the Batman boots.) While he does love the designs on them, I have to say that after extended wear, these boots literally fall apart! His Batman boots dry rotted within a year of purchase and were only held together by the linings. And sadly, today he put on these Monster boots only to discover a huge split in the top of the boot near a point of movement. I just feel that after paying over $50 for a boot, they should last more than 8 months before becoming unwearable. He has only worn these boots lightly (to school on days when it rains.) So overall, I would say buy these boots as a treat for your child to wear to school/daycare/a day out, etc. But if you are looking for a pair of boots for children to play in and be tough on, go for a better, tried-and-true brand like Hunter, which your kids will most likely not wear out before they outgrow them!
