Zengara

This shoe smells horrible. When I opened the box, my entire apartment smelled of gasoline. The stentch still has not gone away 6 weeks later. I never write reviews or complain but this shoe is terrible. Also the heels are plastic, so when you wear down the initial rubber on the heel, you end up walking on plastic. Awful.

Shoes look great, fit great, but had a very strong odor! Smelled liked they were stored in a smokehouse! We had to air them out in the garage with dryer sheets! Would've returned them but didn't have time before the event we ordered them for.

For the price, these shoes are pretty comfortable. They have a cheap look to them at first, but when you break them in they look like any other shoe you'd wear to work. I recommend them.

This was a great buy.Everyone should try them.

Wasn't sure about ordering shoes online but this has been great! The shoe is high quality, looks great and had a better price than anywhere I looked in Vermont where I shopped. Up here it's either farm shoes, tractor-tread looking casual shoes and certainly no dress shoes. Went through all the stores and gave up! Tried Zappos and I will see what else Zengara offers! Sweet shoe, great price and looks good! Super comfortable too.

Overall a good shoe, pinched a little while breaking in, but this goes away as the leather softens.

These are great make sure you get a long metal shoe horn not easy to get on until you get the hang of it!

These are great shoes! They do smell, but that wears off quickly. This is my second pair of the same exact shoe. This time around I was not impressed! The Heel Loop broke after two months. And now the Seem split on the right shoe. I had the last pair for two years and had to replace them because I wore out the sole. I wore them everyday for work. This pair lasted nine months same wear and tear. NOT Impressed. But then again for the price I cannot complain that much. I am going back to Cole Haan, and Kennth Cole.

These are not very comfortable, but it is a dress shoe after all. The laces are much too long. However, I really like this shoe.

I bought these shoes to replace another pair of half boots from another brand (Bass). These are even more comfortable than those were. Stylish, easy to wear, and very comfortable - they are a wonderful dress shoe alternative for someone who likes a bit more support and presence in his shoes.

These shoes absolutely stink like toxic rubber. The smell is distracting and noxious.

Cheap, daily use budget shoes that I'm very happy with. They started off extremely stiff and didn't breathe at all - but I stayed with them, and a week later (longest break in ever) they're soft and breathe normally. Good purchase.

Looks great at first but breaks down quickly, leading to a poor look and finish. Upper is hard, takes a few wears to break in and is a little painful at first.

Theses shoes have a loud, hard heal. They felt a bit chunky in the heal also. They look ok, but the heal wore out quickly and is really loud on hard floors or concrete pavement.

These shoes are pretty okay. If I was shoe shopping in a store I would have tried them on and not gotten them. In this case, I was in need for shoes and these were good enough. Size, definitely slightly large for me. However, I feel with an insole it might be perfect. Style, definitely a good style. I wear these to the office in a suit and the shoes are great for that. Comfort, it's taken about a month to finally break-in the shoes, so it's better now. Even then, you can tell that the makers skimp on the inside in order to get this great price point. It's not terrible, definitely not great. Again, an insole could help. Other: I had no issue about smell. I was worried about it from all these posts, but in the end the shoes smelled like normal shoes.

The loop in the back that helps the foot slip into the shoe broke off within 2 weeks. Invest in a higher quality shoe.

You can't go wrong with these; reasonably priced, comfortable, and classy. They double up for both work and a casual night out with jeans.

Tough to beat for the price. Stylish, simple, a little uncomfortable on the inside top of the foot, but that could just need to be broken in a little more.

In less than a month, some of the seams started coming apart. I was disappointed with the quality. I ended-up throwing this pair out after wearing it only a couple of dozen times.
